Oh okay. I didn't know that. Dyan talaga ako lumilipad kasi mas malapit. Itong last trip ko sa Japan, fortunately mas mabilis na ako sa immigration.

Hanggang 12 Midnight lang po ata ang sim card store sa airport. Ang option mo is to wait for it to open, o kaya, sa Taipe ka na bimili ng sim card sa umaga. Sa accommodation mo for sure may wifi naman. Sa hostel ko po, 1 minute walk away lang yung Chunghwa telecom and napansin kong maraming mobile stores around Taipe so maraming mabibilhan ng sim card.

11:40pm ang ETA ko so I wasn't expecting to make it in time to buy a sim, kasi mag close ng midnight. Balak ko sa city na bumili sim kinabukasan kasi alam ko naman saan accommodation ko tsaka for sure may wifi sa hostel. Sa Taipe maraming mabilihan ng sim (check Google Maps for Chunghwa Telecom near your accomodation) Pero ang swerte, parang 11pm nag Land na kami so pati yung bus na aalis ng 11:50pm naabutan ko.

Less than 1.5 hours sya, walang traffic sa gabi. I think for my ride mga 1 hour 10 mins (11:55pm bus departure)

How's your travel history? Some IOs ask about accommodation. Yung iba naninigurado na may maisasagot so they print booking confirmation na lang.. which you can cancel naman. For my case, hindi ako tinanong about accommodation but I have a screenshot of the booking confirmation in my phone in case tinanong. Others na madalas mag travel and hindi nakapag book would just be honest and plainly say na sa Taiwan/destination na maghahanap ng accommodation, which happens in real life naman talaga. Yun lang, if you don't look like a seasoned International traveler, baka maging doubtful si IO. I could be wrong ha, just sharing what I think kung walang booking.

@@helloeuriequinto It's actually my first time to travel outside the country. So confirmation lang ng booking, then icacancel ko right away after ma book? Hindi na po ba ichecheck ng IO yan dun sa hotel and later baka malaman na cancelled ang booking? please share more details.

@vintotschannel4616 Yes. Others would cancel after getting confirmation. I've never done it kasi when I travel, I at least would like to ensure may matutulugan ako. Muntik pa ngang cancelled pala ang reservation ko nasa hostel na mismo ako (see Episode 3 of this series). Can the IO check to see if your booking is legit? Yes. They can call the hotel/hostel/host and validate if booking is real. As you saw sa video ko, hindi ako first time traveler pero ang daming tanong sa akin.. hindi nga lang about accommodation. Since first trip mo, I suggest to cover your bases well para ready ka in case hingin or itanong. Some IOs asks a lot of questions, others do not. Walang exact formula sa questioning nila unfortunately. Check Agoda for cheap accommodation, I'm sure you'll find one na swak sa budget mo.

Hi, I booked my flight around July for a Sept flight. It was 4.1k RT, no travel insurance and travel tax yet. Booked during a seat sale (pero hindi piso fare). Nagaabang nga din ako, so far no cheaper flights yet. Matagal pa naman Nov, you may have time pa. 😊

@@helloeuriequinto hello po ulit, kapag ba ang arrival time po namin ay 23:40 (11:40PM) ano po pwedeng ilagay sa taiwan ticket draw dapat ba ay October 27 na ng umaga? since sabi po doon ung ticket ay "The lottery code (QR Code) is only valid on the day of entry." thanks po since need to take acc din po ung delay hehe

Di po namin napagusapan ang pera but you can bring Peso with you, okay lang din yun. Alam naman ng IO na may money exchange sa Airport or that you can withdraw using credit card or debit card.

Tsaka mo na sabihin na freelancer ka kung specifically yun ang tanong sayo. Haha, kaloka talaga sa dami ng tanong sakin ng Immigration officer. Kailan alis mo?
