Solo Travel (with God) to Thessaloniki & Philippi | CLINGLIFE VLOG 

Oh my goodness!! I was just talking with a friend this morning about solo travel, then saw the notification for this video a couple of hours later! I love that you’re intentionally seeking the Lord in EVERY area and being open to share that with us. This was amazing! May He continue to guide & protect you as you travel! (Psalm 121)

Been following your Bible Studies for more than 5 years, even before I moved to the US. Made me love reading the old testaments. And I read 1 Thess 4 a few weeks ago, and that was one of the scriptures I highlighted and had to think about. You saying it, resonates a lot with me.

WOW!! I thought I was going to hooray your trip and bemoan the fact that mine was canceled in 2020 due to Covid, but this video is so much deeper. You covered several things that I have been seeking the LORD'S direction on, relating to social media. Your time in Phillpi at the Coloseum brought back memories of what I felt like when I visited the Roman Coloseum. The Gospel must be my priority...over everything. Your videos are always right on time for me! That verse 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 is everything! So many people would have you believe that you have to be on every single platform to be successful. However, that's not everyone's goal, for me I simply want to share my knowledge with other people. If God blesses me in other areas because of this I accept it with gratitude. If nothing comes of it, its ok as well because of the share joy I get in sharing my knowledge and creating content. Thank you for always sharing what's on your heart even if its not popular opinion because it truly blesses those that need reassurance and encouragement. Kim God bless you! I just have tears flowing watching & I know it's the Holy Spirit. Oh I don't know that I'm doing anything to advance the gospel not as conviction but a tug in my heart as though I've been standing on the rampart I may not be seeing. Though I share in bits & pieces the love of God, my testimony & prayers for others I haven't done it bodly. I will stand before God to answer for my life & now in my 70s I know I've wasted so much struggling in the things of the world. In my abilities though limited I want to say here I am Lord please lead me Holy Spirit being the gatekeeper of my mind let me know always what to do & where you lead everyday. I entrust my children, grandchildren & theirs to you Lord claiming as for me & my house we will serve the Lord. I'm trusting my prodigals to you as I seek you Lord. I understand. I set up Instagram and tiktok accounts "to build platform". Immediately after setting these up, I felt the Holy Spirit lay heavily on my heart, "Delete these accounts. This is not the direction to take at this time." I obeyed. The Lord will guide, just as you said. He is THE platform and He will build it His way and in His time. Oh Kim. I love your heart for the LORD. I am so proud of you (in a godly way, if you know what I mean -- cause I know, KNOW, KNOW it's all God, but you are following His voice...does this make sense to you??), and I'm so absolutely thankful to God for showing Himself in you and this. I LOVE that you reacted as you did to the "platform" thing. I'm thinking...it's God's platform that matters and He's pretty good at taking care of that. We aren't to be building our own selves up or our own monuments...we are to be radiating Christ and lifting Him up to others. I LOVE it. I am encouraged by it. "I just have to trust the LORD" Well, that's a pretty good "just". "Is Christ and His Kingdom my priority" Ahhhh....THIS! I am in the same place as you sis I have novels and screenplays on my heart but I haven’t finished writing them because I want to write and then be forced to perform and build a platform if they are picked up and published/produced. I am asking God to show me if I need to remove social media 100%. I just don’t have it in me anymore it’s draining and performative. I’ve enjoyed the “regular” life and I’ve been content and grateful since taking my break. If it’s any consolation I didn’t find you on social media. I found you through Amazon and I’ve bought every book you’ve ever written and recommended you to so many people. God will get you to who you’re assigned to no matter what. 😊

Ahhhhh Kim, I loved this video! It spoke to my soul....only thing is, I think I heard you wrong. At one point, you said "What IF I write another book" and I really know you meant to say "WHEN I write another book...." 😁 For real, though, this was so good. Loved the "built in Bible study" as well! Jaden and I were just talking about the importance of following the prompting of the Holy Spirit. He was moved to do something but wasn't sure how the person would respond, and we talked about Isaiah 55:11, how God's Word will NEVER return void and even if the person doesn't react how WE would like, if Jaden is following God's tug on his own heart, God will do the rest. Thank you, Sis, for always being faithful to His call as well. I know it's not easy, but so many are being blessed by it. Praying for boldness and continued grace and protection for you (and for all of us) and that all of us can stand firm and follow Him no matter what. Love you!

There's many beautiful churches that date back to the early Christian times. One that comes to mind is St-Demetrius cathedral. This is the patron saint of Thessaloniki. He is referred as the myroblyte( meaning 'the Myrrh-Gusher' or 'Myrrh-Streamer') this saint defended the faith and was a Greek christian martyr 4th century ad. His relics are there. Eastern Orthodoxy is the mother church of Christianity. I hope you will enjoy your trip in Greece. Greece is for sure the #1 country to seek God. Plenty of churches, monasteries and relics of holy saints that someone can visit ..

I've been a fan of Jesus for long enough. It's time to cling and be a disciple.

So gooodddd!! You starting preaching lol @ 6:04 I just wanted to give a worldly example that came to my mind as you were talking about your desire to live a more peaceable life. Charles Barkley who is WELL beloved in the sports community does not have social media. Yet he is probably one of the most popular voices in sports today. I think this just goes to show you that it’s not about following trends but following what is true to your heart and your own spirit. If even Charles Barkley who has a secular job is making his own decisions concerning social media and to stay off of it, I think we as believers need to ask ourselves why are we are so ambitious towards jumping onto the platform. I personally came off of Instagram and Facebook and Twitter in my life is a whole lot less boisterous and anxious. I think God can teach us Christians some things about Charles Barkley here. He can raise a person up to where instead of us trying to be seen by others, people will be searching and seeking for the wisdom that we hold within us. I say this because people are constantly searching for the wisdom that Charles Barkley has about basketball yet he only works one or two days a week and refuses to get weighed down with social media. 😂😂😂

I’m always so inspired to keep clinging to our Lord after watching your videos.
