@@kasagf255 People will always say some or the other thing.. they will keep judging no matter what. Follow your gut, it's totally safe to travel alone in Japan. And yes of course rest things are in your hand. Safety measures should be taken always and everywhere 😊👍
Still wouldn’t go out at night, and be aware of your surroundings. There are a lot of creeps that will try to harass, touch you or take pictures of you. Things like buying food at a convenience store meant for one person, they know you’re alone. Or buying ice cream, they know your place is nearby. Always be careful!
@AAmothan Poor social cohesion and no enforced cultural hegemony. When people don't assimilate properly and a nation is diverse, then it's an unmitigated disaster. If you want to look at a functional diverse country then look at Singapore and the US.
@@devinrodriguez3226 make genuine Japanese friends, book a hotel, save money. Try to stay at your Japanese friend’s houses when you can so you can experience local life and safe money also. 🫶🏽
For foreigners who traveled Japan. The reason you guys like Japan is my country is so f*** cheap right now 😅 and safety whatever that is…. It’s only good for visiting not living here ( by Japanese)
I’m praying that I’ll be able to solo travel to Japan this year, I wonder what would be the best way to meet up with fellow travelers while there though.
You should do a video on how you got prepared and how you got your info for the trip ohhh and the expenses you made and where you stayed stuff like that
I remember when i solo travelled to Japan back in 2018, i also stayed at a hostel. The people i met there all ended up going to a british pub in Osaka after getting sushi
Something else in the comments is that a lot of people are concerned about meeting other travellers in Japan. As a Japanese, if I were to say a famous foreigner in Japan these days, I would say Thomas Lockley. Many Japanese know him so well that he has created three songs such as Wizard of fabriction, Isn't that Yasuke? and Isn't that Thomas? and his arrangements are increasing at a very fast pace. I was born and raised in Japan for more than 40 years, but I've never seen a foreigner being chased by 91407 Japanese (or even more Japanese with X). I think he is an unprecedented foreigner in Japan.
omg this is my dream! until i remembered i did this too! when i was 27 i went to japan solo, i was mezmerized by the city shinjuku and would have stayed there forever except it started raining 🥲
@@marcoAKAjoe It really wasn't too bad! Everyone I talked to was really patient with me and were very kind. Google translate helped a TON, definitely not the best way to talk to someone but it got it done!
A girl who looks as pretty as you will just float with ease every where you go. People will fall over themselves to help you. It's not all sunshine and rainbows though, she faces the very real danger of predators because of her looks too This isn't the average human experience.
i know this is random lol don’t know who will see this. But i am going to japan for a 2nd time from Oct 25th - Nov 9th if anyone is there at that time let’s link up for some food (solo traveling)
That’s what I’m trying to find out lol I’m looking to solo travel to Japan or any other Asian county or Europe but it’s always best traveling with others but money is a problem for them 😭
I just came back from Japan. Loved the country. Yes it is more expensive than south East Asian countries but you get to see the more well developed country. More advanced than the US and Canada.
@@rsmith02 I returned a few weeks ago and they actually had plenty at JR East office at Tokyo station. The line was long though. You can also get the Welcome SUICA card at the airport but that only lasts 28 days
Hostel is the place she stayed at. It's like a hotel but with alot of roommates that sleep in same room.its way cheaper. So that's where she found them. Alot of people do this if they want company traveling alone.
HOW At least one of my friends are coming with me because they had to hold me down from jumping from the plane and they also have to have me on a leash to make sure I don’t buy every single store in Japan💀
She still flew on her own, Is living on her own, and will have adventures by herself. They won’t be with her the entire trip and they won’t be going home with her. Learn the definition of “solo travel” just because she traveled alone doesn’t mean she can’t make friends.
