I find your vlogs so soothing without narration for the most part. And then when you do talk I'm surprised at how chill and calm you are compared to other vloggers. Then I just remember that you're Canadian, and it all makes sense.
Wow! We have totally different impressions, haha. I usually watch his videos when I want to taste a little American/Canadian style. And I like his rough and endearing style 😂 opposite of chill and calm
Kyoto has that kind of chill energy which I also dig, it's so serene and calm, everything moves slower. It literally is one of my most favorite city in the world.
As a homebody I can completely relate. It takes courage to get out of the comfort zone in general and then to solo travel is a ginormous amount of courage. I admire you for your travels. Your videos are relaxing and I find it helps my anxiety. Thank you !
You have the most soothing voice; I love watching your vids and listening to your narrations. You are so calming to my hectic chaotic days. I also love the fact that you are not loud and crazy hyper throughout your videos. Please keep your vids coming.
I just came across your channel recently and im loving your vlogging style so much. Just straight to the point, focus on appreciating the nature, not talking too much that it becomes irrelevant like other bloggers, and foooddd, just perfect for a homebody/introvert like me lol
Literally, my favourite vlogs to watch, love the way you put your vlogs together. Totally makes it feel like we're there with you - makes me so excited as well for the Japan trip I'm planning next year 🥰
This Kyoto vlog is my favorite part of your trip. I just found so much peace and happiness watching it, even your stumbling upon a bougie neighborhood lol. You said taking care of yourself is so exhausting, but it seems like Kyoto was the place where u got some rest and fresh air. The sauna, the rain, sunshine, and watching the birds fly felt so right. I’m glad you made that picnic happen.
So glad I found you on Instagram a few months ago. I love following your travels and also your cooking at home. Keep it all coming, so fun to follow it all.
as a Japanese I really love how u find local things better than ur thoughts Omelets place and reasonable sushi were actually the place for non tourists but thing is good. It’s just real part of Japan and I’m so glad that u filmed it
This is exactly what I'm looking for. ❤️ I was meant to go to Japan with a friend but she bailed out, but I still wanted to go. Seeing you doing it so effortlessly inspire me to go alone. And like you, I want to go to Japan to EAT and see some sights. and I also want to document my journey like yours so I can look back and remember my adventure. 🫶🏻
Your videos make me feel so comfortable, not every trip should have extremely exciting things to do,just go around the city and explore some local food no matter whether it’s good or not, embrace whatever you got during the trip ,that’s also my idea state of travel .Hope to see you in next video ^_^
I’m a homebody and reading your comments about not having a place to go home to is a major factor of my anxiety anytime I travel, even for work. I have to take someone with me for my own sanity. It’s something I have to work through so I appreciate you being so transparent and vulnerable. ❤
thank you for this, i feel like i was also traveling in japan vicariously by watching this video. all the food you've had looked sooo tasty it made me hungry lmao
Hi Logan! I really enjoyed your Japan vlogs😄 I hope I can travel to Japan myself in the future🙏🏼 That Kyoto picnic literally looked like the perfect weather, mood, setting, and just a great quality time.
Beautiful city, beautiful scenery, and even delicious food... Japan is always new and fantastic. I am Korean, but it is the most fun when you travel to Japan. Please continue to introduce many famous restaurants in Japan. And thank you always.
I would love a video about how you get around as a solo traveller, like how do you read menus when you don’t know the language? Any tips for travel etc. I can’t wait to have a fun trip like you’ve been having!
Man the last view is from the pedestrian bridge near Tennoji, right??!! I was born and raised near Tennoji and the view made me really miss my hometown... Your vlog showed many of the places I used to hang out with my friends when I was in middle school or high school. I live in Vancouver now and haven't been back to Osaka for a while but this video made me miss my friends and parents very much. I love your contents!
OMG😱✨✨✨My treasure had been in Japan for pleasure! That’s my home town 🇯🇵! Every comment was glorious! And,I’m looking forward to next you trip! 🇰🇷🗼🇨🇳🇮🇩🇹🇭🇺🇸
Very pumped up by just the opening minute or so.. love the look of the hotel, super love the 🍓 shirt, and I am dying to check out Kyoto! This is gonna be a good one! 😅
I just got done watching your Vietnam blog and oh lord I didn’t know you had so many videos that aren’t RU-vid shorts. Bout to Saturday binge while I do my thing lol
This guy is a vibe. Going to Japan for two weeks, will sleep Kyoto has I’m more into Osaka and Shyubua area. Hitting up Disney and Universal and also Street Karts! Can’t wait?
Hey logagm, this video is fantastic. Just discovered you and you are amazing! I really enjoy your personality and the interest you have in a lot of Asian culture. Your personality with the shots and editing made it feel so at ease to watch that it reminded me of the trip I had in Japan when I was alone, walking around and experiencing the culture. This video is just too relatable, so it felt really comfortable to just watch and see what you were going to do. I found myself smiling and laughing at the way you see and do things because the whole time I was like, "That's what I would do". A pleasant coincidence. Really looking forward to more content you're going to make. Thanks again for making a great video! :)
great video. love how you said food was bad when it was and didn't hype it up. Also, loved how you got desert afger every meal, fantastic! I'm headed to Japan in less than two weeks and can't wait! Definitely going to try conveyor belt sushi. Thanks for the video.
I’m a strange person. I enjoy watching people eat. My wife makes food look so good and sounds good when she eats. Yet you have no expression when you eat but you still make the food look so damn good lol. Can’t wait I’ll be going to Japan in early February!
This was so nice to watch. You’re too relatable with “okay now I need something sweet” after your meals because SAME 😂 and “tbh it would be better with onions”. How was it getting around? Did you have to buy the JR pass?
This guy genuinely just brings out so much happy in me, these days i have little to go around it feels, however he just makes me yearn for another day. Thank you for bringing us along for the ride man. i sincerely appreciate and love what you do
It was a nice video and a lot of fun. As Japanese people living in Kyoto, seeing foreign visitors enjoying themselves gives us Japanese the power to do more. Thank you for the really nice video😊
I’m curious to know how do you know how to navigate throughout the three places. What stations passes to purchase. Where to purchase. My travel anxiety rises with all these uncertainties of not knowing how to navigate or communicate in a foreign place. 😮💨
How was the weather in general in Japan? I’ve heard it’s exceptionally hot and humid but I’m from Florida so I can’t imagine it’s anything worse. Lmk what you thought! I’m leaving for Tokyo Wednesday!
Depends of the region, southern Japan (kyoto-osaka) is very similar to southern US cities like Atlanta or Charlotte. Tokyo which is central is similar to Washington DC. Northern Japan like Sapporo or Aomori is more like New England with lots of snow in winter.
I love this! Seems more peaceful. Also did you know McDonalds in Australia has frozen coke?? It’s like a slushier i was obsessed! We gotta get that here in Canada
