Yea no one likes to camp in the winter months lol. A forest ranger drove by and asked if I was ok because I was camping out there 😂

@@hunter_pauley yup the cooking is the best part,also fishing. Iam not able to do as much as I use to I had cancer ,but I cancer free the chemo and radiation did a number on me and got nerve damage in my pelvis and legs. Anyhow really enjoy your channel thank you

Glad you enjoy the cooking aspect. When summer rolls around, I really hope to share more adventures and things like the fishing, hiking, etc. For folks like yourself, I hope to showcase these adventures and places where maybe you can't quite get to. Good evening from Godley Texas, another great winter adventure. Wild game is lean and has a terrific taste when prepared right. Superb looking burger 🍔. Love the train on the track. I est Mountain House all the time and have never tried the ice cream. Gotta order for next outing. Security purposes - don’t want people seeing in and it’s nice privacy to change etc. . I LOVE the sliding cab-side window more than I thought I would. .

You almost spoke lol! I've had those little Ice Cream sandwiches, they are definitely legit. Looks like one of the spots I scouted... is that "Muchwater"? The old lady is demanding I take her to that hot spring. Nice capture of the train.

Do you scope out an area prior to filming as you always seem to drop on local dry firewood! It’s always soaking here 🤣

Yea I always scope the general area. Not gonna lie, this fire was really difficult to get going. The wood was wet and it was really hard to find deadfall. The last trip I did I actually bought some because I knew it would be difficult to get it going with the available wood in the area.

I think you almost broke radio silence after that burger. Nice to see all the cool features on the new camper. I dont know why some reviews complain about the train noise there. That was nothing. Did some lucky dog get that third burger w/o the cheese?

As they say, the burger flavor profile was BUSSIN lol. I never know what to expect when making dishes like this so it's always a surprise. Odi did get some of that last little burger in the pan. So many new features and little surprises that I discovered on this trip even. Gonna have to keep note of them to bring them up in the 6 month video.

If you tie a piece of line to the handle on the tent, it will be easier to pull the tent closed.

Wheels were def a huge upgrade and I wanted a different look. Like you said, everyone does black. I was heating both the upstairs and downstairs that night with the diesel heater so no worries about it freezing. Pop it out once back home.

I use OnX Off Road only. I will usually look at areas ahead of time and use the 3D maps as well. I never have an "exact" spot I know I am going to unless I have been there before. A lot of it is just picking an area, driving there and see what is there. I always have a back up though if needed. My best spots have always been found on a whim.@@cindysegar1426

Labradoodles are awesome! He stays SO CLOSE that I joke it’s impossible for me to lose him. The truck is a 2021 Off Road. Those are “off road”badges. Long time ago I thought they looked good but will actually be debadging the truck here soon.
