In Deep winter snow and Extreme Cold of -20 C I go winter camping solo and stay overnight. I lay a bough bed and set up a tarp shelter. I cook steak and make tea. I wake and a beautiful frost has covered the forest. I make a campfire and enjoy some tea before leaving

Great content. Thank you for sharing! Why don't we use more long fire, which requires 60% fewer fuel cuts and distributes the heat profile lower and wider? We could often retain more heat in the habited area and lose less to the environment.

Hi Ted. I am subscribed to your original channel & had been wondering why there hadn't been a video posted in a long time there. I decided to check the other tabs out (besides just the Videos tab) & saw under the Channels tab that you have this channel. So that's how I ended up here & subscribed here. I'm glad to see more of your videos. Yay!!! And I see you have a lot more subscribers here. Maybe I missed it on your other channel, but did you ever announce on the other channel that you were starting this one? If not, you may want to do that over there because that may bring you even more subscribers to this channel. I still like your talking videos, especially the ones where you bring your wife & dog on the adventure. I also love adventures you share with your brother. Those are fun. So I will keep checking out your other channel too. 🙂

Conversely, you may want to do a brief announcement on this channel that you have your original channel which has talking & more adventures on it. That may increase the number of subscribers on your original channel.

Winter camping at its finest! I use to take off layers of clothes and put them in the sleeping bag with me and they were warm. Nothing iced over though because you will think you peed in your sleeping bag..😂 I love that grill top, starts small and compact.. see you on the next one Ted!

Hey Michael. I have two channels this one is called Ted Baird Shorts and Silent and my other is just called Ted Baird. This channel will be home to the Silent videos/no Talking versions and my other home to the Talking versions. Especially with the bushcraft style videos may people wanted no Talking Especially if they don't speak English but many wanted Talking so I split the channels. You will find Talking and high adventure videos on the Ted Baird Channel. It's a bit confusing but hope that helps

I have 2 channels Ted Baird and Ted Baird Shorts and Silent. This one, Ted Baird Shorts and Silent is dedicated to the Silent versions but Ted Baird Channel talking versions will continue. Some want talking and some don't and some don't speak English etc so split into 2 Channels

Nice to see unnecessary global warming wood burning with most of the heat and damaging gases escaping straight into the atmosphere. Nice to see long term health being compromised by breathing particulates from the log fire. Nice to see a sham survival vid, where the food was supermarket purchased. Nice to see that people can relate to the taught survival skills, when never going further than their garden gate.
