Ok, if you are trying to solo the winter event, here’s some advice: • Your loadout should be commander, DJ, pyromancer (preferably with gold), a tower that can deal with the flying enemies, and a DPS tower that has hidden detection. • Phase 1 is mostly assessing the situation. Place 2 pyromancers on both sides and reinforce each side as necessary. On the last wave, save up for your DPS tower and kill the ripped elf with it. Phases 2 & 3 require you to set up towers quickly before the enemies arrive. The general way this can be done is: • Start things off with a DJ that’s going to cover anywhere important. If it’s phase 2, upgrade to level 3, and max it if it’s phase 3. Don’t stress too much about getting the perfect placement, as you have very little time and still need to get your DPS down. • Then, you either need 2 level 3 pyromancers for phase 2, or 1 max pyromancer for phase 3. Place these close to the front. • After that, get down flying detection, as flying enemies arrive sooner than high-health hidden enemies. If you’re using mortar, have 2 level 4’s for phase 2, and 4 max mortars for phase 3. I dunno what to do if you don’t have mortar. • Moving forward, spam your DPS tower, as it’s going to be your primary way of taking down the boss. Make sure you also have hidden detection though. • Lasty, set up Call To Arms chaining whenever you want, preferably before the boss arrives.
I doubt anybody will care, but this is what I do. I use gold pyro, accelerator, gold minigunner, mortar, and DJ. First I get a gold pyro at the front in that spot where the path breaks in 2, allowing it to cover everything. Next I set it to farthest and work on getting it to level 3. Then I get 2 pyros on each side of the 4 lain path up front, one on the corner, and the other across from it. I upgrade these to level 2 and keep them on first. If I really want to take care of any leaks for the wave clear bonus, I use mortar and gold pyro depending on the size of the leak. Then I just work on getting a level 3 accel, and then get a gold minigunner on whichever path the mini boss goes down. It will target the gold mini and the accel will take care of it. Next I get a level 3 DJ, two level 4 mortars, and then spam down level 3 accels. For any hidden leaks I use gold pyro or an accel if the leak is large, but that doesn't happen often. I try and bait the mini boss using gold pyro or gold mini. If the boss gets out of range I just upgrade the DJ for the range boost, which is enough usually. Now I get a level 5 DJ, four max level mortars, a gold pyro in the front, accel spam, and then gold mini spam. I usually win unless the boss switches to the shorter path, which is sometimes where I lose.
This event was honestly really good. I mean, the gameplay encouraged teamwork but was easy enough to beat without breaking a sweat in duos, the tower is balanced and fun, I can't complain.
"There's a word in the English language for what the pyromancer did... It's called special ed." This joke just caught me off guard so much and I can't stop laughing 😂
I feel this event is easier than the Frost Invasion and in general one of the easiest events in TDS. I was able to play multilpe games without losing in a row.
@@CuteFish636 ey bro i saw some guy complaining in one of the comments reply section that the event was too "rng based" but he really was just coping. say that iconic "skill issue" catchphrase to him plz. hint: his pfp has sans in it
Hey can you tell below about lowing down graphics because I can't play any of it I miss my towers a little bit too long I can't join because too many graphics so can you tell him that thank you
G Pyro and Mortar are going to be your win con to people who don't want to follow a strat. Go in duos with a friend and one brings dj the other brings commander. First reset get a lvl 3 dj, max pyro, other person gets 4 lvl 4 mortars, final reset both get 4 max mortars asap, get max dj, 3 lvl 2 (max optional) commanders and start chaining cta, spam dps towers
literally the first thing I ever said when I first for the first time ever loaded into this event, I said "Bro is this just a reskin of frost invasion" and it practically is besides the base entrances
Executioner is not a good option for this event even though it seems like a good idea, just dont mortar has bigger range and damage he can spawnkill after wave 17 or 18
Bro my team defeated this mode without commandor bc Krampus jumped across the map and our jesters basically said krampus should be turning around again and agin until we won and bc im on mobile I can not use cyromancer so yea… but losing your sanity was kinda funny too
I love how the only original parts of this event is the map! Krampus? *Christmas 2019* Cryomancer? *TDX Cryo-Blaster* EVERY BASIC ENEMY?! WINTER 2021 AND CHRISTMAS 2022! WOW!
The only reason I haven't attempted this event solo for some challenges was because I didn't have Mortar (I am 4 levels away from getting him) and almost every strat that doesn't have no hardcore or golden towers has mortar
I can easily solo this event only using NST. Being fair, starting out was rlly annoying. If you're struggling use: pyro, minigunner (normal), dj, commander and mortar
POV below making this event I don’t feel like making a new event let’s put frost invasion and old krampus and put it into something we call a “new event”
Mortar was need for this event at the fourth upgrade he can one shot the flying enemys and you can upgrade it to level 4 when your doing trio or prob solo too and stuff mortar is good
The first part has the same map as the frost invasion they just added houses and changed enemies to elves and the 2nd one is not frost invasion map but frost invasion enemies
Bro the map looks almost like the frost invasion only different is the houses and snow the only thing is kinda different is the path the path of the map gives me flashback of my horror at frost invasion
i only beat the game by soloing, it was hard but i did it without mortar on solo. (Loadout: non-golden minigunner, non-golden pyromancer, ranger, dj and commander)
