Soloing 3 More Destiny 1 Nightfalls in 2023

From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

For any that did not play D1, this boss use to have much more health than he does now. They had to nerf him because he was such a sponge it was crazy.

Destiny 1 was my life for years, there hasnt been a game since that has truly taken my attention like destiny 1 did

Aaah the memories of this….lost count how many times we died to the tank back then…crazy splash damage and if solar burn was on…..runnawaaaay!! On your Warlock run you should have used starfire protocol, would have given you constant nades my dude 👊

Destiny 1 was probably best for the massive health bars one of my favourite things because it almost made you pop a heavy synth. Keep posting and u will forever have me as a viewer

I wish they would just bring D1 to PC. Also, no precision damage on Cabal shields in D1... Now THAT was a PITA.

Man, I'm so upset, yet happy, that I stumbled across this series because it lit a nostalgia bonfire inside my heart 😂. The nostalgia was so strong, I started a new warlock on D1 and have been enjoying it more than I should have. Even leveling up and unlocking parts of the subclass (currently working towards self rez) has been a straight dopamine rush. Once I hit 20, it's straight up PoE time lol. You earned a like from me.

It is crazy to think there was a point in time where hiding from the bosses and taking pot shots was the best strategy considering how strong we are now. If Destiny 2 could replicate that level of challenge it would go a big way for roping veteran players back in.

(excuse my english please) The thing I enjoy the most in strikes is the entire parkour we make from the beginning to the final boss. I think it's the best thing because I can do the same strike again again and again, as long as I'm having fun doing it, and I personally find the fun by going it as fast as I can and it's even more pleasant when the strike has an interesting parkour. I don't know if you guys are even understanding me, but the thing i'm trying to say is that, this strike, is one of the best in destiny history. And mostly because it has an interesting parkour. And I don't have the same fun in destiny 2 than in D1, idk why, strikes in D2 seems ok, and some are really good, like the inverted spire or the corrupted, strikes with large and wide areas are the best.

Deconstruction perfectly encapsulates the feeling I get when I go to the d1 tower. Nostalgia for a time I never experienced.

Loved this Nightfall. I'll always remember some of the few times running it, having to cheese it. Either behind the crates, or up in the rafters of the room. Awesome.

Thank you for this nice lil trip down memory lane... I really wish I could relive all the awesome moments I've had playing this gem of a game.

Man with everything happing now, Lance passing away, destiny as a franchise evolving and memories flowing with content like this, it’s just crazy how much my life has changed because of this game, I kind of restarted destiny 1 finally got all the expansions, getting to live in this, it’s so hard to find teammates anymore lol but still it’s been great and getting to share these kinds of memories with my younger brothers, just feels so good. Rest in peace Lance, whether we wanted it or not, your no longer with us guardian, stay safe, wherever you are

These vids have really reminded me of how variable the difficulty of nightfalls were in D1 some were piss easy other bullshit hard because of the random mods and bungie has gotten so much better at having a consistent challenge in terms of mods, and with them revamping old strikes to the current sandbox maybe the actual strikes will have a more consistent level of challenge too.

I remember the Minotaur/Landtank random roll. EVERY NIGHTFALL. It was the Minotaur and I hated it.

I managed to get my favorite weapon from the Valus. I got a treads upon stars with armor piercing, army of one, and life support. Never leaves my inventory

I never played D1, but this strike looks lovely if it was ported to D2. I think that removing strike variations was a bad move from Bungie, since those variations made the regular strike playlist so much more bearable. The encounter design is extremely basic, but that’s to be expected and the taken blights are a nice touch with the minotaur encounter. My only worry is that the enemies look extremely spongy - this feels more like an underleveled MMO character brute forcing a high level dungeon. I can’t imagine farming this without getting careless out of boredom during DPS.

D1 content in 2023? Very cool!

I play through D1 at least once every year

Kinda want to install the game on my ps5 and log into it to give this a try but I realized I would need ps+ bleh. Do remember that this was my first Solo nightfall and I remember getting Gally after missing it from Zur when he sold it like week 2 after release then a week or 2 after me getting the drop him selling again.

D1 is just so much more magical than D2. Its been almost 6 years and Bungie is STILL trying to recapture the D1 magic.

Wether we wanted it or not Cabal Stomp is one the best themes from destiny and is just as iconic song as the intro line of the start of the same strike

Imagine being able to play this on pc with cross save do you guys think the community with shift back. Heres my argument for this make destiny 3 allow d1 to be played on pc aswell youll have to purchase it again slight drawback but while there reworking there coding and engine for final shape and just perfecting that last bit of the light and dark saga you could go back and fourth between these two games i personally am very burnt on d1 and im not even a heavy grinder i solo the newest dungeons get my rolls i want hop in on tuesdays and fridays then i never touch the game againm im sure theres othwrs like me ao what do you guys think good idea or bad?
