Lawson Tama stadium in Honiara should host more international football matches, just look at the locals who turn out to support soccer in this country, there is no where in the pacific islands that you get to see a turnout like this only in Honiara. Good game for both PNG and Solomon Islands.

So proud of both teams. Solomon's need to display a calm attitude of play to match their talents. I have to give Solomon's goal keeper 8.7 rating base on this highlight. Solo Will need to put on more quality play to get them through to the next round. PNG is the best improved team for me in the Pacific.

I really wish we get to see an OFC nation (other than New Zealand*) qualify for a world cup in the next decade or so! I'm from the opposite end of the world but I'm slightly obsessed with your whole region. Spent 6 weeks backpacking round PNG. It was my favourite country I've ever been to and I really want to go to other pacific countries too. *I've got nothing against New Zealand! Would just be cool to see one of the other countries that have never qualified before.
