The Solton Programmer 24 is a very cool Arranger Keyboard from the year 1985 You can find the full playlist here: ru-vid.com/group/PLe08Lbpy8pPatRacpKrEWec6j_G8BEA4M
A friend had one of these and it impressed me because it was very versatile and yet people at that time were pretty much unaware of it because no one had it in store. And yet it lives on here! Wonderful! Peace Christo 🎶🔦✌🏻❤️👽🕺🎶🛸👏🏻👍🏻🙏
This is the type of music box that was relatively popular amongst some Italo-Disco and Italodance bands in the second half of the 80s, up until the Casio FZ-1 sampler became more of a popular choice for new and existing bands there by the late-80s.
Awesome demo of this amazing Italian synth ! Thumbs up & thanks for this enjoyable, unusual sounding moment ... made with this nice 80s analog workstation ;-)) Great week to you with new projects ! ;-))
For those interested the heart of this are a pair of M112 chips designed for the home organ market so it not really a synth. It was found in Seil products and probably a a lot of kids toy keyboards of that era. Muffwiggler has an interesting article on this curiosity and also a link to the M112 spec sheet which makes interesting reading. forum/viewtopic.php?t=99154&sid=adf5a07a7fc08b18b0fa3e2a9e89ad7a
Find a used Alesis Micron or AKAI Miniak and there you go. The Novation XioSynth is another close contender. They're older model synth's, but all 3 make the Solton Ketron Programmer 24 look silly in comparison.
