Solution for iphone 5 back camera not working 

Hi. I faced this issue yesterday for the first time and came here for a solution. yes my rear camera is now working after doing the hard pressed as described in the video and also i hit the back a bit with my palm and then did a hard reset. thank you for helping.

Quick fix: While on home page, triple-click the home button. This will bring up the magnifier. Make sure the magnification symbol along the bottom slide bar is as small as it gets. In other words, if it's on maximum magnification, slide the symbol from right side to as far as it will go on the left. Exit magnification. My black camera screen disappeared and appears to be ok now. Hope this helps some of you.

Hey guys, sounds funny but honestly to God it worked following this method: Press Hard on camera of the iPhome from the back(I don't mean press on Camera on actual screen). Press into place where light flashes from the back off the iPhone as well, as if you are angry and want to break, but obviously don't break lol. Believe me or not but it will work for some iPhones.

I fixed that error and I want to share you how to solve that with you guys.Its very simple and I tried many solutions.Nothing works.That happened when I upgraded to IOS 14.My camera and flash not working.And,I was searching solution.And then I saw somebody’s comment he said “that occurs due to the big update.So, I tried to downgrade my iOS 14 to 13 with my MacBook.You can see how to downgrade on RU-vid.I am really happy now and hope you guys work

hey don't worry i just fixed the same issue,, open you phone and fix the cable again, its just the matter of 5 minutes.. i just have done this for my camera. earlier i thought its software issue but no tricks work hence i open and fixed.. Good luck

Hey guys I got my camera to work again, I cried. You just have to hold the camera app till it jiggles like you're gonna delete something and simultaneously turn off the phone. When you turn off the phone gently but still with some force press around the camera, leave for a minute and turn back on. Hope it works for y'all. Like so people can see.

My hard pressing didn't work... But I did hit the camera on the corner of my drawer and it worked! I guess it just needs a like smack and then works haha! Thanks for the idea tho

This would work only if its a HARDWARE ISSUE. Soft Reset your Mobile Just press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo. You can let go of both buttons after the Apple logo appears. Your phone will go through the usual process of starting up. You'll be back in your home screen. Switch on the camera and check whether its working, if NOT Then follow the simple steps, 1. On your cam, you would see a blurred screen, 2. Give a hard deep press as long as you see a change in the Display as shown on the video, it might turn RED, Stripes or so on, if you see a change, take out your thumb and close the camera application (Press Home button twice and swipe it off) 3. switch on the cam again and see if it works, it should. If its not working either, that means the hardware part (cam) has not properally fixed to the motherboard of the mobile. you can either spend few bucks and get the cam fixedto the motherboard properly. (Make sure you stay there nearyby when the technicians remove your mobile, whereas they would say as if the cam in burnt or blah blah to gain a good profit. Its highly recommended that you get it fixed by yourself as said above. Best of LUCK :)
