Sir, hats off to your relentless knowledge sharing and dissemination. There are not many TRUE EXPERTS on this planet who are having such unassuming and egoless nature after poessing high order mathematical skills. I have also one question (by inspiration) that if we also start using iPad - then which size (11 or 12.9 and memory (128 or 256 or 512 gb) will you suggest for such note taking/teaching for long term use of device ?
It is my pleasure to help in any way I can. I do just about everything on my iPad. I find the size of the iPad Pro to be perfect. Size wise 128 GB is big enough for me and I take a ton of notes. The Pencil is definitely worth it. I use GoodNotes, but it isn’t perfect. I hope that helps
Sorry for another request - I would be very interested in your Japanese progress (I remember you were having good results with SRSing some Japanese tv show) and in updated general "how I study". I am sure there are a lot of new insights.
I have slacked off on my Japanese sadly. I got to the point where I could understand a lot of media, but because I had nobody to talk to I can't talk naturally without planning everything I'm trying to say. I often forget words and mess up grammar. It is hard to keep up the studying with all the other topics I constantly learn. The reality shows are the way to go though based off of my experience. Aside from the grammar book I'd say all of the other textbooks and apps are a waste of time if your goal is to consume media.
@@derekbanas Thank you, Derek! I am not sure if that's a good idea, but maybe you can record some of your tutorials in Japanese?=) That would be kinda hard, probably. But there are a lot of non-native RU-vidrs that post videos in English...
Hi Derek, 3 humble requests to U : (1) (repeating a request from 2-3 days ago) I request u to pls do a tutorial on TERRAFORM (2) Cud u pls do a tutorial on FUNCTIONAL PROGRAMMING | LAMBDA EXPRESSIONS? (3) Cud u pls do a tutorial on SYSTEM DESIGN (a common question being asked in interviews)? (saw ur design patterns tutorial, which is gr8, but wud love to see a tutorial from u addressing few system design problems) Thanks in advance... - Madhukiran
Thank you :) I'll see what I can do about your requests. Agree, the only part that makes sense is when the women are there and when the women are not there ( 2/3x. . . . =4/5(x-4) . . . .). Just saying that the (x-4) on the left side "needs to be there because it needs to be on both sides" doesn't does not explain well enough. As with the right side of the equation that 4/5( x-4) is the women gone after the bus stop. However, after that 4/5(x-4) +"x-4" as "It does not include the number of 'this' or the number of women". What do you mean by "this" in terms of the scenario? This explanation needs to go deeper, so that we can wrap our heads around to what is being said.
