Solved! Acer laptop boot problem, cant power up/turn on & forced shut down 

I regret buying Acer brand laptop. If I can turn back time I won't buy this brand anymore. My mom's sweat and hardwork will kill me because of guilt. Guilt because I buy this 😭

This method is working, but then it loads in the loading screen for a while then I’m pretty sure it just turns off again. Is there whither method but I don’t have to take my battery’s out or anything?

Found many of the acer customers have the same kind issue...Then why the acer is still manufacturing the defective products. During this lockdown, because of this laptop i couldn't do my office work.

Hello! I found the same problem but I just want to make sure if the keyboard is really at fault. Do you think it will work if I disable the built in keyboard and mount a gaming keyboard thru usb for the mean time? Thanks for the response

Bro its the same issue in my acer nitro 5. Can't we just disable only the power button and keep rest of the keyboard on? Instead of replacing a whole new keyboard?

Sir, I also facing same issue my laptop can't turn on by pressing power button then press other button is work but need to press and hold. If I release the key and automatic closed. But if my warranty is expired what should I do.

Hey man.. hope you are doing good.. I bought acer aspire 5 and this happened with me not only once but thrice.. All I want to ask is whether there is problem in Motherboard or any other component? Because problem repeats itself after every 3-4 months and you have to replace your keyboard again.. Btw thanks for putting this issue before us. This is very bad from Acer side that they have not fixed their products properly and we customers are facing so much problem. Advice: Before buying any laptop do take Extended warranty, you never know what is going to happen in future. And most importantly REFRAIN yourself from buying acer products.They really suck!!

Hi, My laptop was working fine a few days ago but i tried typing while i was playing a game and it didnt work so i just use my wired keyboard but then i had to go to sleep so i went to bed and next morning i tried to get on it but it wouldnt turn on so i thought it was dead but i forgot that i couldnt turn on the power button because my keyboard didnt work its not working ive tried many tutorials but i cannot get it to turn back on

My Acer aspire 3 A315-41-R7YQ can't turn on, I followed the instructions to press power button for a minute, fortunately it turned on, but the problem happen back and it happened a frequent times after it turned on and being shut down... Any solution for this kind of problem?
