HOW TO FIX Galaxy S7 Constant Notification Sound Bug !

So , i hadn't turned on the notifications or something and throughout the day i keep getting this irritating buzzing sound until decided that i had enough of it ! i record the steps i have taken which finally got rid of the monster !

Last one months it is irritating. One friend told me close wifi and Bluetooth. but it walked few days. Now as per your advise I tried setting, accessibility but I don't find the butter to stop inmy M12 samsung. please advise.

I did throw mine. A bunch. Its the same alert i use for text messages. First i was having problems with my proximity sensor. I woukd take a call or have the phone in my pocket and and hear music or ? Look at the screen and find apps uninstalled. Apps turned on off contacts delieted. Etc. I had to get an app to fix the proximity sensor issue. Then gradually replace apps and get settings back to normal. I dont knoiw what case i currently have on here but ill find out and post it. This is one tough little sucker. When i twist off on a phone im brutal. Ive bashed them over my head i throw like Nolan Ryan and i punch like Tyson. Been known to spike a ball like Emmit Smith. So far this phone is still intact. Id have to give the credit to the case thats on it.

Go to settings then connections and then turn off NFC payment --> that helped me turn off the continous ping pong sound!!

You're a genius, I was also getting constant sound effects that played randomly while idle in Home screen as example. Turning NFC off in the control panel thingy apparently fixed it for me.

Mate, I thank you, it was driving me to the point where I felt the need to throw my phone into the abyss. You delivered a very easy to decipher way of fixing the issue. Had same problem, thanks for the fix. In late 2019 the same function can be found in settings > advanced features > notifications. Turned it off hopefully the phone becomes less annoying.

I have this exact problem. The thing warbles at random, in the middle of the night. The "Notification Reminder" under "Accessibility" was turned off by default. I do not use this Android phone much so am not really familiar with it. I found the list of application notifications and all were switched on. Presumably one of them bothering me. I had to switch them off individually, apparently no master switch. This has been really helpful.

Brilliantly simple. It annoyed me, happening once every minute whilst I was out driving. I found it almost by accident and turned it off. However I missed a notification because I wasn't near my phone and then tried to find out how to turn it back on again: could I find it; NO I could not. This video helped me do this in seconds and extending the repeat to 5 mins.

Not just samsung this started happening about a week ago on my LGV60 i followed these instruction and turned off something called Persistent Notification located in accessibility i noticed on LG instead of a simple on/off toggle in accessibility it's called Persistent Notification it's incredibly irritating the only thing that worked was restarting the phone but as soon as i would get an actual notification the phone would chime & vibrate every 10 seconds nothing else worked & this Persistent Notification would be triggered & start dinging every 10 seconds even if i responded to the notification. Hope this helps some LG user the way this video helped me. Thanks

Thank you very much, this worked well I wish cell phone manufacturers could really work on organizing their settings it's ridiculous they have to go to two different places to deal with notifications. If you're having a tone every 1 to 15 minutes on your phone turn this off in accessibility and it will work also. Why does everybody make their videos so long on the introduction just get to the point.

My Samsung Galaxy tablet A was doing this,so when I checked after watching this video,I found that your fix was the right one..I think when I was carrying it around carelessly(w/my phone & stuff pressing against the screen while menu was on/open aparently,like I shouldn't do)& must have started changing settings by accident & turned on that option unintentionally..Thank you for helping to end the irritating beeps right away!

Thanks bro i fixed my problem ... I installed one app for that i allow all the permission including this .. after that i am always getting an irritating notification sound even i didn't get any msg but don't know where the problem is .. Your video really helped me

I created a new one just a few days back ...In addition to turning off notification reminder , turn off Bluetooth and NFC . The nfc and Bluetooth sometimes are responsible for trying to connect remotely to nearby compatible stuff like credit cards etc causing the notification sound if issue still persists try checking if you have a sim toolkit , tap on it and head where it says flash and deactivate flash ..... sometimes we take sim based services which keep getting flashed ( beeped ) after a few minutes ...

This wasn't an issue before installing Google Messages and for some reason that app turned this feature on. So annoying spending hours researching general and in-app settings getting nowhere. Thanks for this! Notification reminder moved a bit on Android 12 but can still easily be found via Accessibility.

let's give it one last shot ....head to settings.... then to notifications .... then to advanced settings .... check whether wireless emergency alert is turned on ....if yes turn it off .... 2. Turn off nfc ......
