Finally fixed my 55" Sony Bravia EX72 KDL-55EX720. It had a single white vertical line down the center and a distorted area to the left. It was NOT the T-CON board or ribbon cable.
If you can throw light i was shifting my led and it got a hard press from top side now it shows a vertical line that goes away when tries a gentle push on top side. What could be the problem that gets solved by gentle squeze. ?
Thank you very much !!! mine has a line but no distortion… i think your onto something because this happened to mine when it was cold and more humidity … I’m not a tech or engineer or anything like it LOL i’m just a courteous woman and frustrated that it did it and want to fix it DYI !!! i saw other videos that say we can go into settings and reset … i think i followed information but it did not work so it let me to believe it was like by ribbon on radio but you are probably right how do i check each resistor ? or should i just solder all of them ? is there way to find the the number of each one ?
Same TV, same line, except mine is a black line from the bottom of the set, going up and increasing every day, upto 18cms now. I'm no technician so I think one day the set is just going to split down the middle and fall to the floor 😫
Guys I’ve went to a repair shop with water damage exactly how it is in the video he pretty much told me only 1 time in his 10 years working fixing tv he has fixed it
