I thought I was stupid because I do things on paper, when things are far too long, even short division, I I make sure I do it right on paper first. This is o.k,but it would have been better if he had opened up the viewers to how this is explained in different spheres of math I.E.THE LANGUAGE OF ADDITIVE INVERSES,EX:TWO NUMBERS ARE ADDITIVE INVERSES IF THEIR SUM IS ZERO,EXAMPLE: 3 +(-3)=0.THEREFORE 3 & -3 ARE ADDITIVE INVERSES. FOR HIS FIRST EXAMPLE IT WOULD HAVE WORKED THIS WAY :C + 3 = 5, REWRITTEN IT LOOKS AS FOLLOWS: C +3 +(-3)=5 + (-3).THIS BREAKS DOWN TO THIS: C +3 -3 = 5 -3 & THEREFORE C = 2 NOW YOU MAY SAY HERE THAT THIS IS HOW HE SOLVED IT,WHICH IS TRUE,BUT LOOK AT HOW IT ACCTUALLY IS I.E.
