Hope you enjoyed this video! Watch an example of how to solve a truss using the method of joints! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xho_828N6jM.html
Thanks for your videos, Every time i had a problem in structures, i looked for AF Math & Engineering video for the lesson.thanks again and hope more videos for covering other structural parts of engineering and also it will be great if you could do some really tricky higher structural questions with using sap2000, etabs, staad pro and do without them. Thanks again.
Thanks man, super glad to hear you're enjoying our content. We plan on making lots more computer analysis videos soon! We have some sap2000 videos, well probably release more SAFE and ETABS videos next. Thanks again for your comment!
If you strategically take moments around a point through which unknown forces pass align, then the moment due to these forces is zero. For a statics problem, you can take moments around any point you choose, and adding up moments to zero is equally valid around all points.
ENGISSOL 2D Truss Analysis software features a powerful finite element solver to analyze trusses consisting of elements with rotational releases at their both ends. The deformed configuration under external loads is calculated and the axial force diagram of the structure provided by the user is represented. The creation of the model is an easy and quick task as the user can take advantage of the intelligent user interface of the software. Its versatile graphical user interface, the predifend libraries and many other available features can save you time and effort. Moreover, the program also supportes non-linear static analysis (second order analysis) for the consideration of P-Delta effects.
