Hello Aleman :) Actually yung decision about reverse or retain the indicated inequality symbol ay naka depende lang sa base :) So if th eproblem is 3^x-4 < 1/27 , most probably ang base ay 3 so magiging x-4 < -3 ang set of exponents :) te answer is x
paano po yan, any fraction pwede nadin gawing whole number. example po ung 1/10 pwede sya irewrite as 10^-1 and ung 1/100 ay pwede irewrite as 10^-2. ano po and gagawin.. ireretain po ba talaga ang direction ng inequality symbol or hindi? PS. just asking for clarification, medyo nalilito din po kasi ako hahaha..

Hello NTC :) If that is the case , need na imodify or itransform ang dalawang Base mo (1/27) and (1/243) then iaaapply lang ang power rule for exponents , so magiging 1/3^3 ang 1/27 ----- then 1/3^5 naman ang 1/243 ---- bale ang new base mo ay 1/3 so need ireverse ang inequality symbol :) Then simplify lang (1/27)^2x+1 < (1/243)^3x-2 (1/3^3)^2x+1 < (1/3^5)^3x-2 (1/3)^3(2x+1) < (1/3)^5(3x-2) (power rule of exponents) 3(2x+1) > 5(3x-2) reverse the inequality symbol (bec base is less than 1) 6x+3 > 15x-10 Distributive Property, Then APE lang or Solve for the value of x 3 + 10 > 15x - 6x 13 > 9x Divide both side by 9 13/9 > x or x
