On more than one occasion my stepdad would put on his backup pair of glasses because his main pair were nestled in his hair when he lifted them there to see something he didn't need the glasses for. He would only figure that out when he went to do the same thing with the backups and they'd hit his main pair...

Same! Most often I'm talking to someone who is making plans to go do something, so I'll look for my phone to set an alarm and can't figure out where I left it. Most recently I did that while talking to my sister and I was getting frustrated because I couldn't find my phone so I told her I'd call her right back as soon as I found it. She started laughing at me and went, "Uh huh, really?" I was like, "It's not funny..." which made her laugh harder as she asked, "So ... how are you talking to me right now?" I felt so dumb.

Talking about first world problems - I'm using an HDMI TV as a second monitor for my desktop computer and the power button on the TV is starting to go out and I was worried I'd have to replace the TV if I couldn't turn it on... then I remembered that it's a TV and has a remote control to use for that exact purpose...

Go fetch me the remote so that I may enjoy dual viewing again.[/posh voice] In my defense, the TV was on sale for only $70 and the card it's plugged into is obsolete by about 5 generations (max resolution for the card and either monitor is only 1600x900, barely above standard definition) so the amount of times I can properly use both is far less than I'd like - usually I just have a walkthrough open on the second for the game I'm playing in the first.

Lost my remote... Also I was going to say something about the warmth of the pool and I see you read a comment on that. The person is correct. I have my CPO license (Certified pool operator) and that's one of the things I learned is that most places really don't like to heat the pool to adequate temps. Basically think of it like this, your average body temp is 98.7 and you're getting into 78 degree water, it's gonna be cold haha. But then your body adjusts and it doesn't feel so bad. That's the lesson for today... :)

Something I've wondered for a while about these ads (because I dont use a blocker for same reason...to support the creators) is do you get paid per ad, or per length of time an ad is watched for? I'm trying to ease the gult felt when I click skip now lol

Tbh, they don't do a great job of explaining it. From what I understand, creators get more revenue from ads that are either interacted with (like clicked on) or if you watch most of or all of an ad. Like, skipping after five seconds isn't as much as it would be if you watch the whole thing. Like I said, that's what I understand, but I could be totally wrong hahaha. But definitely don't feel guilty clicking skip, cuz I'd be lying if I told you I didn't do the same thing hahaha
