Another way to js solve this is to grab a calculator and replace the X with a number that will get you to 17. For ex , 2(11)-5=17 will give u 11 . As u can see I just replaced the X with a 11 in order to get me my answer . Hope that helps .

Sir I have a question. Q) The sum of 3 consecutive multiples of 11 is 363. I need to find these multiples. A) let x = multiple of 11, then next multiple is x+11,next multiple is x+22; giving us equation of x+x+11+x+22= 363 Solving it, we get x=110,x+11=121,x+22=132. Alternative we can take multiple just before x,as in, x-11,x,x+11 giving us equation as (x-11)+x+(x+11)=363 giving us x=121,x-11=110,x+11=132. Doubt) Why can't we take two multiples before x? As in x-22,x-11 and x? Because when I do put it in equation, answers come out wrong,for eg x somehow=131.

correct you isolate x on one side which would give you 2x -5=17 then add 5 to both sides giving you 2x-5=17+5 which ofc equals 22 and then you divide both sides by 2 which is 11
