Serialising each discipline moving on to harder and harder examples is way to go ,on your site though each episode should be clearly marked what number,in series ,still think the owl should smile though🤷‍♂️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

maths has always been stressful but after actually revising for once and using your videos everything is much easier to understand. thanks a lot for these videos man. quick question though, where would the foundation only questions end? since i'm not doing any higher papers.

I'm 48 and did my GCSE maths in 1990. Honestly i think it was slightly easier. I've never touched quadratic equations. Now trying to improve 😂

Does it matter which way round the brackets are? Example (x + 7 ) (x - 5) = 0. Could that be correct as ( x - 5 ) ( x + 7 ) = 0. Just checking thanks for video 😊

it doesn't matter if they are both pluses but if there is a minus just work out the equation and if its wrong just flip them around

how would you solve this equation 2x^2-5x+1

2x^2 - x - 1 = 0 could be (2x-1)(x+1) so solutions could be x=0.5 and x= - 1 or am i wrong???

No because 2x = -5 and youre trying to find x so you just divide -5 by 2 and get -2.5. He already did the opposite sign from +5 to -5 at the start.

how should you decide which positive and negative sign go into which bracket? because regardless of which sign u put in it will give the same answer but if i don't know how to deduce which sign goes into which bracket i wont get the answer right so how do u deduce which sign goes into which bracket????????

you can't solve it by factorising directly,because it has a coefficient greater than 1 for 8x^2 therefore you have to use the a x c method first
