There is a huge difference between guns and knives. That’s like saying it’s OK for everybody to carry around a rocket launcher as long as there’s the right social mentality in a country, everybody can have rocket launchers and be fine. No, of course not. We’ve been rocket launchers because they’re too much destruction. I have multiple guns and I do not support trying to ban guns. But to compare a tool like a knife which is a force multiplier of 1-2 to a gun which is a force multiplier of 100 is crazy. And if what I said is not enough to make somebody understand that knives and guns are night and day, then think about many cities the size of this city that are absolutely terrorized by a much smaller amount of guns in the hands of criminals than a knife in the hands of a huge amount of people. Like I said, night and day.

We can't do anything about terrorism. Its gonna happen either way. But banning dangerous weapons from being carried in the street will logically reduce the chances of someone carrying one unless they don't care about wasting 5 years+ of their life
