Thank god tutorials like this actually exist. I have a math teacher who just doesn’t know how to teach, they talk at a million miles per hour and they don’t explain anything. This might be the reason I pass.
@@taeshii3103 I’m just home schooled and I’ll be going back to school soon so I’m trying to learn everything I can and being home schooled isn’t easier at all, it’s harder 😭 don’t recommend
Shout out to Mr. J for uploading these videos. I'm in college, upgrading my math credit (teaching myself the math, its how the course works) and I honestly would not have gotten through half the modules without your help. So thank you for helping me pass math
Currently refreshing on EVERYTHING before I take my math placements for college 🤣 I've been out of school for 12 years so it's been fun. Hope college is doing well for ya!
all of yall saying ur here cuz ur math teachers suck, I have the best math teacher ever im just here cuz i need to revise lol. my math teacher teaches just like mr j! im so blessed to have her
Wth I’m in 6th grade advanced and I am being taught this and my teacher is the worst teacher I have ever had!! I had to come to this video to learn it!! lol
It helps since going into 6th grade it’s a big jump of what we do in math. I loved how throughly you explained it and didn’t speed through it like in actual math class. Thank you so much
The way you teach this is fantastic, I've failed grade 9 math many times and I'm finally understanding it thanks to you, hopefully that motivates you to keep the content going, because I and others I'm sure, LOVE IT!
Thak the lord I found this video this was my missing peice I have a math test tmr and the main topic is two-step equation. I never understood it from my teacher cuz he never explains properly. You are my lifesaver plz keep making videos like these they could help poor people like me one day! ; )
I’m actually thankful for having Mr. J making everyone learn math, its saved my life that i wish i can hire you as my teacher 😭 YOU ARE AN AMAZING THAT I EVEN PASSED MY LAST YEAR REPORT CARD!!❤
Hello Mr. J, you helped a lot during my online schooling and without you I would've already failed Thank you for that. And by the way, What software do you use in this video I'm wondering because it's going to help me a lot and thank you again.
Thank you! I missed a class of math and felt like i needed to get back on track and watching this video helped me get back on that track! i cant believe that info like this is free. THANK YOU SO MUCH
Hello mr j I am in fifth grade and my dad would always make me watch these but he passed away a week ago. Anyway is it ok if I still don’t get it and I’m in fifth grade?
Thank you so much for these videos! I’ve passed RLA, SS, and science on the GED test. Math is my last test and with your videos I’m learning math a lot easier than I thought I would. Whenever I’m studying and I come across a problem that I don’t understand I come straight to your videos.
Mr j, as I’m typing this comment in doing two step problems on notability and if been struggling on them for a little bit now because my teachers are teaching really weird so this video helps a ton, keep on rocking dude 👍🙂
I have ADD so its hard to focus on what my teacher is saying especially if they teach in a boring way or speak to fast or slow. This is really good help because if I didn't get it when you first said it then I can just go back and listen again. Plus, you explain it very easily so that it doesn't jumble up in my head then pop out again. You make everything click
Thank you soo much, I have a test tomorrow and I was struggling learning this. But then when I watched your video I completely know now. Thanks now I’m most probably going to pass my test. Thanks
Learnt a lot from this video. Basic idea of algebra, but very essential ones. The way you present the lesson make it looked so easy. The explanation also very smooth and easy to follow. Thank you very much.
Been watching and working along with several of your classes. Thanks so much. I’m about to retire from the military, and will be taking the ACT in one month. Appreciate your help brother 🤘🏻
These are so good, I'm in 8th Grade and have had bad math teachers in 6th and 7th so I'm a little lost when it comes to this algebra stuff, thanks so much
Excellent refresher (for this old brain) to help my child. This course was A LONG time ago, so this was great...nice and slow for me to follow. Easy to understand.
I'm the parent of a 9th grader and could use some help with multiple step equations. I never made it very far in Algebra world in school. The one step equation video helped me understand a little more!!!
thank you so much! I am in 9th grade algebra 1 and we just learned this today and I was so confused on it so I started watching videos and taking notes. After watching this one I truly do thought it helped me.
Dear brother, dear friend, I watch your videos for my 2 grand children. Sorry I wrote negative comments, but be sure, it is not a negative comment, rather a request for video making. Please do not take this other way. I really really love and appreciate for whatever you have done. Thank you.
Thank you so much ! This is so helpful but i do have a question , for example number 3 you said to do the the opposite of +16 i just wanna ask how thats + 16 isnt it -16 ??
Hi Mr. J, I'm sixty next year, but I use this KID's grade math ALL THE TIME. I need it for my computer endeavors in programming to make things more abstract and practical in my thinking along the way. You have no idea, just how much you have helped an old man, about twice your age probably, since I seen who you actually look like in real video life. I use you all the time to help me out. You are an AWESOME MATH TEACHER!! Yet you helped out so many of us and you probably don't even know it.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌
Best math teacher out there I literally can’t understand it when my teacher does it but he explains it like a master piece so easy to follow it makes anything look easy actually amazing I love it
Yeah I suck too if I were a math teacher I would actually explain how you get the answer, and what you have to do to get the answer. Not just saying what’s the answer to number 6, and expecting us to know it automatically.
I appreciate this video. I am helping my high school freshman with algebra, and the video helped refresh my memory. I have a question, though. For #4, why didn't you do distributive property for that problem? Do you have any videos on distributive property?
Where does it explain the difference between one-step and two step equations? Both involve inverse and both involve isolating the variable. So what's the difference?
Number 3 was incorrect you were supposed to add by 16 because you need to find the inverse, the way to get rid of the 16 is by adding 16 because -16 + 16 = 0. And if you subtract it gives you the wrong answer which is -32.
David Aleksic I get your point but no it’s actually correct. There is no minus symbol infront of it so it’s postive because even though there’s a negative sign it’s actually behind the 16 so you do minus it since it is positive and you undo what’s been done so the opposite operation to the answer. Also if you work it out with the e being 3 you’ll get 7 as your final answer.
tysm im barely awake in school and can barely have any of the education go through my brain especially math,so watching your videos while im awake insanely helps,This is why my grades are going up i really appreciate these tutorials
Literally in 9th grade and my math teacher has no idea what he’s doing, entire class fails every single test cause no one knows what’s going on. Thank you 🙏 😅 Only person in our class who knows math is our EA
Thanks Mr J, from the first place i don't know what to do about solving equations, but thanks to you, i knaw how to do it, im ready for may periodical test!!!!!
Thank you so much o was struggling keeping up with my teacher but you explained it really good and slow and fluently for me to understand and you have examples that we also work on so it’s even better thank you
