I’m not one to post my comments because I do lots of run of sentences. Today I want to tell you Sherrie how much I love your post. I can hardly wait for next Tuesday 💐
My dear Ms. Sherry! Every time I hear you say, " Let's get started!", I get a huge smile 😃 on my face! You are awesome, and thanks for all the hard work you do for us!!
Yes! More of these please! They really help me see the things in my stash differently! These projects are unique, fun and so thrifty. I loved them all!
Great video Sherry! I would be excited to see more like this, maybe several times a year. I particularly liked the milk glass, matchbox, and sewing lamp.
Oh my gosh I love every one of your projects! As a sewer I want the two pattern pieces for my sewing room! I just came across shooting medals of my Dad’s and want to do a shadow box! Love the match box, I must make one! The angel food cake pan is to die for! On and on EVERY one is delightful as are you! Congratulations lovely lady!
Especially loved the small cracker box and 2 drawer cupboard. I must try that technique!! Love watching you up cycle thrift finds…you have a incredible imagination!! Thank you. 😊🌷🙏
Good morning, Sherry! Wow, these are fantastic upcycle projects. Your imagination never ceases to amaze. I like this type of video. I have a few finds that could use some make over ideas. I'll be sure to post on the FB page. As always, thank you for inspiring . Have a great week! ❤, Bobbie.
Good morning, Bobbie! So glad you liked today’s projects. This was a fun challenge. It will also be a challenge to find the thrift store items I need for future videos. I was lucky to have several of the ones I used in today’s video. Have a great week!❤
@@CanterburyCottage Sherry these were such great inspirations, it helps so much weather to build on your idea or put a twist on it ! I also included a link I saw a couple months ago of a fan blade project u may find interesting! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Q0U9WyOodiI.html It’s hometalk fan blades for your entry way. Thank you for sharing
I'm making that dragonfly! But, I'm putting it in our bedroom, or, living room! I've always thought there should be something weird, & wonderful should be able to be made out of those blades, altho I thought with the hardware...now I know...go figure, Thank You!
The tulip yard art from the ceiling fan was so cute. I could also see them used as garden hooks attached to a board. Great Idea. I've also seen the fan blades and a spindle made into dragonflies . I love your channel!!!! Thank you
Oh my goodness these were all wonderful! Those reverse images with mod podge are genius! I need to try that! I loved the lampshade with the vintage patterns. I was wondering if sometime you could do a project with the front of the pattern envelopes. I love the styles of the vintage clothing. I’m sure you would come up with something unique and wonderful.
Sherry, each week with you is an adventure in creativity and ingenuity. Kudos to you for keeping us coming back for more wonderful of your wonderful projects. Who would have thought to use the ceiling fan blades as dragon fly wings? Sherry would! Adorable. 🙂
Absolutely more of these videos, Sherry! I love this. This way we keep each other inspired. You did great on all of these, but i gotta tell ya, now im going to be looking for angel food pans and good bases. I also loved the milk glass and the box with the dowel rod that you put twine on. But, they were all great. They were great because you are. Thanks for keeping so many inspired in awesome new ways.
This was absolutely enjoyable this afternoon as I wasn’t feeling the best and it’s rainy here and you just brighten my day with all of your clever ideas. Many people are unable to have a vision for something we’re just throw them away and it just breaks my heart. You are such and encouragement to those individuals who want to just throw things away and also to those who want to change things up!!!I loved just about everything you did and it would have been happy to put it in my home. When I moved 6 years ago to a new complex for seniors over 55 and it was done modern style and I was very foolish and got rid of many antiques. However there is a few that I kept but I cannot quite figure out how to incorporate them into my white and gray decor but you have now helped me figure a lot of that out and I thank you for that. I’m an artist and an interior designer but often times it’s like the saying “the cobbler‘s children go without shoes”, And for many reasons that I will not list I find it hard to have a cohesiveness in my home. I’m excited to begin starting to make changes in the things I have but also no that it’s OK to put a new face left on an old “goody”!!!
I love the pattern paper on the lampshade!💡The scissors tucked into the thread - genius! 😀 I really like the dragonfly fan blades, too! Very creative! You always have the best ideas! Thank you for sharing!🥰
You just keep going! It’s amazing, you’re amazing. I love the box turned twine holder and the patterns as a decoupaging material--brilliant! I enjoy your content immensely. Thank you! And congrats on your success, it’s well-deserved.
Sherry, you are so clever! I really love the sewing kit and the coffee drawers! Everything was great so I can't say I wouldn't love to have them all. Yes continue with this type of projects. God Blessings
Yes more! I loved the content of this video! Sherry you have the greatest imagination and foresight! I love everything, the dragonfly and tulips are darling! 👍🥰❤️🌷
What a great way to start my day!✔ Thank you for your imaginative projects, they are endless, and that's why Your Channel has been such a success.👍 Cheers
Congratulations on the "Woman on the Rise" recognition! Absolutely wonderful. I'm going to make the dragonfly for a friend. Thank you for the inspiration.
Hi Sherry! As always I love your inspiring ideas! The dragonfly is clever & my favorite was the shadow box because I have a few in my stash and you gave me the nudge I needed to create one with my Mom’s keepsakes ❤️. Thank you for sharing!!
Hi Sherry…I loved everything you made and appreciate you using items you have on hand rather than buying from a store and then remaking them…Also, I like the fact that these items are usable for years to come…I would like to see more of these shows added to your regular videos…They are all interesting, and I learn something from each segment…Thank you for sharing your amazing talent and knowledge with us…I always anxiously await your newest video…😊
Great video as usual, Sherry! Just love how you took the time to help out folks with “their” flip projects! I, for one, would LOVE to see more of this type of video every now and then! Imagine my surprise to see you do something with silver plate carafe bases. I have two of these that I put clear generic floral vases in them and used to hold fresh cut flowers. My vases go to the bottom of the bases to make sure the flower arrangements don’t tip over. But I will be looking for other options to change them for candles too now. Your videos always brighten up my Tuesday mornings. Until next Tuesday, have a great week!
Thank you! Good morning, Lee! I love the idea of using a tall vase for flowers in a carafe base! I would like to think of another use, too-those silver stands are so pretty and fairly easy to find at thrift stores!
Wonderful transformations for each of these projects! I especially love the milk glass shade/vase idea and hope to use that very soon. Please continue to offer your take on the items that are stumpers to the rest of us, even if a couple are sprinkled in with your regular episodes. Always a treat to see what's happening at your place. Thanks for the inspirations!
Thank you, Nancy! This was a fun challenge for me. I am still looking for some other items that viewers posted that I couldn’t find in time for this video. I love the word “stumpers!” I may have to use that word in the video title!
Fantastic as always!! Would love to see what the milk glass "vase" on the candle stand would look like with a candle in it. Love all your projects. And please give us an update on the fire.
You are a magician, Sherri! Every time I watch your videos my perspective is expanded so I can see new possibilities in things that have outlived their original use or appeal. Love the dragonfly and tulips for this reason. Thank you!
Thanks for teaching me how to reverse image with modge podge. Absolutely beautiful work and excellent ideas. I've an old ceiling fan!!! 🦋 I'm gonna try a butterfly 🦋💙 Definitely more please 🥰
@@CanterburyCottage I'm sure you'll find some at a very reasonable price. Looks like the lady below this comment is wondering how we'd do a butterfly out of fan blade's. 🦋
I loved this video so much I watched it twice!!! So many great ideas. You are so talented. The sewing box, match holder, and dragon fly. We’re my favorite but I loved all of your projects. Please do more of these videos. Along with your regular wonderful videos. Your simply the best!!! Congrats on the award. You definitely deserve it. TFS
You might have noticed that I no longer have Amazon links in the description box. That is because Amazon is doing away with their “quick links.” As a result, I created an Amazon store to help you find the tools and products that I use. I realize it is not as convenient. Amazon is clearly encouraging you to buy more than you planned!
Your talent to take anything most people would just throw out amazes me ! You turn it into beautiful pieces for the house! You truly inspire me to look at things so differently now !
Sherry, I love it all. And, I want to update some items I have also. That is make them look vintage. Thank you so very much for sharing your creativity. Sandy
I love what you did with the milk glass shades. Very clever! And those are some things everyone sees at stores but never knows what to do with. I love the style of this video and someone else commented to do this in more videos even if its just one item a time. I think that's a great idea!
Congratulations on your award!! I love watching you and your inspiration on how to use items. Don't know if you thought about this but I'd hang some crystals off the fan tuplips which would reflect the sun in your garden. TFS with all of us!!
What absolutely awesome and creative ideas!! Thank you so much for the ideas of the two items I posted, the wooden match stick/tapered candle holder and 2 drawer wooden cd holder!! I can’t wait to get started on your ideas! Please continue these videos to help us with creating beautiful things out of our special finds! All of your creations are simply fantastic! Always look forward to a Tuesdays with you!
I absolutely love your channel. You are so creative. I have some fan blades after watching this today I now know what I’m going to make. Please continue more of these. Love them all.
The dragonfly is so beautiful. I feel like I say the same thing every week. Mind blown. I got tickled when you had some of the very same items and I would have bought then also if I found then at a thrift store. Well done Sherry. 💕💕💕 No job you shy away from.
Loved this and I have my dear Mother in law’s sewing box just like yours. I now have inspiration. I have a pair of clear glass hobble nail lamps that I have no clue how to change them up. They belonged to my husband’s Aunt and very old. If picture helps I’ll be happy to send. You totally are my inspiration 😘
Loved your video....such creative ideas. Love the dragonfly, cracker label piece and the spice label. Thanks for sharing the prints and reversing them for us.
You are so amazing! Your creativity is so awesome and you are above and beyond talented. Thank you for your inspiration every week. Great job as usual Sherry.
