There is no where in the Quran or the Sunnah of prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that says to do this. Bid'ah (Innovation or a change in religion) is evil according to Allah and His and messenger. "Say (O Muhammad To All Humankind) if you love Allah then follow me..."(Quran, Al-Imran 3:31).
