My People.. this is my story they are telling.. while i went thousands of miles away my love struggled, wey iga ilmeysisey runti.. millions of somali youth goes through this.. ❤❤🇸🇴🇩🇯
Il me rappelling le groupe 4 Mars de Djibouti ❤❤❤. I miss them the way rhey use play the culture dance and were very organised. Well done to this young generation in Minisota. ❤❤❤
The frist song and the type of dance has lots of history behind it,there was a guy called " cali kala geeye" that guy killed the " OROMO KING " at that time with this style of dance its called " WILWILO" this type of dance has two faces, you can dance it war times or peace times. so yeah i wanted to share that 😁
The traditional Somali dance and songs, combined with modern stage and theatre, create a mesmerizing scene of enjoyment. Somalis boast around 600 dance styles, each accompanied by its own set of songs and melodies. I envision the Minnesota Somali Museum sponsoring a team of researchers to preserve and document these diverse dance styles for the benefit of future generations of Somalis and the world. Thanks to all those young Diaporic Traditionalists.

Does anyone know the name of the song that starts at 12:00? I’ve been trying to find it since I heard it live at the event. Allah macaanaa heesta, Mashallah 🙏🏼
This is a tremendous Somalia when they were free until they espoused strange Arabian cultures and religion that broke into clans and tribal prejudice...one language, One religion but broken people. This was not edenic but satanic intrusive forces of hell... Somalia shall be saved at all costs in Jesus Christ name amen
Jesus ahh 🤔 whats it to do with you what arabian influence we got. We are happy with our history especially our islamic history, by far the most important and beautiful part of being somali is islam
It’s sad that the same Somali dances were being done a few years ago but now all the girls are super covered up. What is happening to our people? It’s like we continually lose our culture to copy other people. Now they’re changing our traditional Somali clothing to fit into a different aesthetic. It’s so disturbing.
I’m Somali through and through and this seems so foreign to me it’s crazy not even close bro. These kids need to stick to the Dhaanto and the other traditional dances all these drama thing and hugging is weird and weird made up dances isn’t Somali and looks foreign and tasteless. I can’t believe someone looked at them at the rehearsal and went great this is great 7:37 Cmon guys you can do better
