Imphal (Manipur), Aug 07 (ANI): Meet a country music singer Somaya Rumthao from Ukhrul District, Manipur. He is also a vocalist of the Manipur-based band Streetlights. Fondly known as Don Williams Somaya belongs to the Tangkhul community. Somaya released his first-ever country music video "Don't wanna move on" in April 2021.
“Since my school days, I loved listening to oldies like John Denver and Kenny Rogers. Don Williams is one of my favorites. I listened to all genres but, I love country music because the songs are manly and cool. But as a singer, you need to listen to your heart," said Somaya.
