Enough about the weight, I understand it plays a part. But these are HW’s, it matters less. This fight is about Fury’s 7” reach advantage on Fury’s jab
It’s amazing how they try to hype up Fury like he could actually compete with the all time greats of Boxing. Fury would absolutely get destroyed by Holyfield or Lewis in their prime.. Fury couldn’t even beat an MMA fighter.
Holyfield was a head butting juiced up dirty fighting protected fighter. See Lewis first fight and Tyson first fight. He got KO'd by a bum mma fighter in a boxing ring because he's a mug. Fook that fraud. Fury would bash him. Lewis.....agreed.
I’ve always felt that Usyk didn’t stand a chance against fury. up until today when I saw them weigh in! With fury losing weight, and of course, he still looks flabby, and Usyk gaining healthy weight and seeing them together I now think that Usyk stands a good chance of winning this fight!
@@ApolloMateoKyrie what a dumb comment no reach too small? Reach isn’t everything in fact it’s a measurement at the end of the day, fury has to use that reach for reach to mean anything! Like Usyk hasn’t dealt with guys with superior reach to him?? I’ve never went I a boxing match saying oh that guy has a bigger reach than me therefore I’m gonna loose. 😂 Usyk whole deal is that he can move so well that he can take reach away from you. He’s a highly skilled fighter. Usyk will win this fight in everyone’s eyes except the judges. I’ve got Fury winning a bent judges fight. Fury’s legs have gone.
Usyk can’t hurt Fury… and they both know it. Fury will walk through anything Usyk throws. Usyk’s only chance is to make it a dud of an ugly fight, hug, stick and run, and hope the judges give him a SDEC nod.
The guys are fogetting that whilst the record doesn't show it, McDermott actually beat Fury. If Fury wins, I think he needs to solidify his legacy by attempting to beat AJ
Chris, has got it wrong. Usyk weighed in at 223 tonight. Not 233. They haven't got the latest information. He is 10 pounds lighter than your info, Chris.
Shame the awesome Jai Opetaia vs Marius Breidis is also on the card...their first fight was an absolute banger and this one promises to be good as well.
I'm sorry but when you look at Muhammad Ali's fights with Zora Folley and Ernie Terrell ( his last fights in his prime), his hand speed paired with footwork were unparalleled by ANYONE in heavyweight division history. He wasn't a small dude either at 6'3" and a 78" reach. That is just my opinion, I agree that Lennox Lewis was phenomenal, but I give the advantage to Ali.
If Tyson comes in shape I don’t see a way that Usyk wins Tyson is to big and strong and has just as good boxing skills if not better. The only way he loses if he gets gassed . I look for a knock out by Tyson or atleast a unanimous decision. Usyk is great but Tyson is a freak of nature
Too small, no power to stop him. Even though Ali was around 6'3. Fury can box too. Love's leaning and wrestling. Ali can try tiring him out and nicking rounds over 12. I wouldn't favor him though. It's very similar to this fight with usyk on paper
Fury will absolutely smash usyk its madness anyone thinks otherwise & i dont like fury tbh anymore but he will destroy usyk and people will say ohhh he was too big!!! Ofcorse he was thats why he will smash him!!!!
Joshua was a harder style match up than Fury for Usyk and he beat him twice. Usyk is the better mover, better jab, combinations, higher iq, footwork, punch variety. Fury main offense is the 1 2 and it's not even close to Joshua's straights. Both Dubois and Joshua are harder punchers and Usyk was able to deal with their power. Fury will be stopped late because of Usyk pace and superior skill set
Thought of Mendoza being 8" shorter than Fundora and KOd em. Hope it's more interesting than Usyk unable to get past the jab lol. I hate taller fighters with a good jab. I'd like to see Fury handle a solid Usyk jaw jacking i don't think he's had a good one yet including Wilder.
Bro let me tell you something Usyk won’t have an issue getting past the jab and Allaah knows best. That’s his speciality lol. He fights better against bigger fighters because of this. Go watch his fights if you don’t believe me. His feinting and probing with the jabs and his in and out style is a nightmare for taller fighters as they can’t time him with the jab.
This guy wrong on both. Fury not going down and my bet 100 percent fury wins most likely a stoppage so safe just take fury moneyline but if wanna gamble go stoppage to bad odds were +425 when i got it now +300
Fury outweighing Usyk by 35lbs (or more on the night) is decidedly not "kinda meeting in the middle". The weigh in looked like a super middleweight clown staring down a bulked up welterweight.
AI will soon answer the question of who beats who. All weight classes against all weight classes, any era. Would the best Tank beat the best Floyd? Would the best Iron Mike beat the best Fury? With AI we will soon be able to see these fantasy fights.
Think Vitali Klitchko was actually the best heavy weight. Look at his odd defense, look at his record...Lennox while older retired versus rematching the older brother... He dominated in general just more well rounded than the younger brother
Fury, the best ever, what a joke. He’s had 6 world title fights, fighting 4 people. Chisora, who he had already beat twice, and had been beaten by every man and his dog, Whyte, who was knocked out cold two fights previous by a 40+ year old Povetkin, a 39 year old Klitschko and Wilder, who has virtually zero boxing ability and who’s had 45+ fights, and beat absolutely nobody.
Fury much bigger, but I dont think he's as physically strong as Usyk Anyway, not about that so much, and not a Mr Olympia contest. May the one that boxes the best win, and no draw.
To me hoylifield and fresier was the best, they don’t get enough recognition, they beat the best of the era, ben smaller fighters remember Ali was about to quit on 14 round went they stopped the fight
