I used to work at Matchams when we had white pegs and green netting around the track. Carl Nunn was looking for the smooth sections then aswell, which meant aiming for every white peg on the track. We did alot of walking and hammering pegs in between races. Didn't mind though. Watching him blast down those rollers before the step down and big table top (hitting every white peg) is one of my all time best moto memories.
Seeing Stuart (& Carl) for the 1st time in 25 years got me a little emotional. Last time I saw them was when I was taking mx classes before moving to Canada. Happy memories.
On a positive note. 2nd Moto Holeshot and running top 3 when youve had little or no bike time. Top effort Tommy. The others will be in trouble once youve got some practice time under your belt💥

The 2nd race seemed like a very spirited ride. You should always remember to judge the effort, not the results. If you try your hardest and don’t win, it wasn’t your day. If you try 70% and don’t win then you didn’t want to win. Also tying 50% and winning is fine.
