Dear Gavin, this song flows so perfect with your Voice. Your Cover Version is way more better than the Original !! I don't like the original but i LOVE your Version :) You did a great Job ... I.. I lost my aunt today. She was the most fantastic and inspirational woman I've ever met, and not even to mention young. Thank you so much for the acoustic version, it has given me the extra strength I needed, and I'm surprised the replay button in my Spotify is still working. Beautiful cover as usual, Gavin. Laleh's songs are amazing, but your covers add a whole new dimension to the songs you play/sing because of all the emotion-I can hear it in your voice, in the notes you play, in the ebb and flow of the tempo. My friends and I are writing a story together, and we often use your songs for inspiration. :) The feelings expressed in your songs really come through.

I'm scared that I'm spamming your videos, but I imagine this is the spam you like. This is completely and utterly heartbreaking. You put so much emotion in your work and it sounds incredible. I'm not used to taking RU-vid artists seriously, but you I feel I must. I want to say it sounds professional, but it is your life (and if it isn't, I think you better make it your life).

The original song sounds like she is happy about some people dying young. I hate it. This is the perfect way to bring those amazing lyrics; it has heart and soul.

You must be kidding. The original song sounds like that girl is all happy about some people dying at a young age, the lyrics don't fit her music but this one is brought in such an elegant, soft and heartbreaking way. This is how those lyrics needs to be song. This is so much better than the original.

Shield & Arrow It is really interesting. I used to find Laleh's version quite strange, but kept listening to it, a lot because of the context of knowing it. I felt a lot like you that it would be more suitable with this kind of presentation, but when I heard this version, I realised that the original gave me a completely different message, both which are beautiful.To me, Laleh's song is acknowledging the horrors and risks of living, without dwelling with the sadness. Instead it focuses on the hope and fighting spirit. This version, to me, is an amazing way of bringing out the sadness and desperation of losing someone. But to me it bears no hope, which is why I love both :)

Okay so, first of all, I have listened to this pretty much on repeat for the past week. I am gobsmacked. It is easily one of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard. I can't even get over it. I actually teared up when I first heard it. So then I decided to check out your other stuff and just listened to every song in utter amazement. You are incredible!! I just have no words!!
