I came across this video after watching random TF2 videos and I couldn't be more proud to be in this fandom Also I didn't even notice this is 5 years old, it fits gen Z humour so well

I remember watching this video somewhere at the end if primary school, and it's still as good and I remember. Only shame is that the original subtitles are gone, they were a fun little addition to this.

Amphal I couldn't disagree more. With how overly serious that Overwatch is trying to be, being an 'original' game and trying to actually have a serious plot, I very much doubt it'll ever reach this level of greatness, xD There's so many plotholes in Overwatch's story and even to characters' backgrounds too. But trying to make hilarious and/or retarded animations with characters like that is really hard, which is why most Overwatch SFMs that exist are usually making fun of in-game jokes and memes rather than being full on retarded and random like TF2's. And the few SFM movie creators who decided to give that a shot (making random/retarded Overwatch SFMs) failed horribly, and ended up making the video cringy instead. It just doesn't work with Overwatch's supposed-to-be-serious characters. TF2 on the other hand does not suffer from the same issue, as TF2 has always been comical, and it's characters' personalities AND story are over the top. I mean, Saxton Hale has Stress Bears that he wrestles for stress relief and fun. xD And Australians in TF2 are supposed to be super strong because of the Australium ore that Mann Co has. (Just read the comics, it's hard to explain.) And even Saxton Hale himself is Australian and the hair on his chest is shaped like the way Australia looks on a map. xD Due to all this, the game creators never much cared about how serious the story was and just kept introducing things such as Merasmus the wizard who was once Soldier's roommate. xD And the best thing is that it's not even kiddy humor but rather stupid (yet funny) adult humor, and even despite how comical the story is, the characters and the story itself are still awesome and badass. Overwatch still has yet to achieve that too, and I think it's too late for it to even achieve that anymore. This is why TF2 will always be the best at Gmod and SFM videos, why those videos will always be more hilarious and/or random and funny than Overwatch's. Because the game's characters easily allow you to do that, and the game and comics keep giving us more ways to make more stupid jokes in the animation with *literally* every little bit of story that is revealed on every comic. (And some times updates too, as well as official TF2 SFM movies.)
Da Reaper Studios I often write "essays" about things I'm passionate about, don't worry about it. xD Sorry, but in cases like these I can write a lot under 2 minutes and not even realize it. haha I just like giving detailed and fair criticism to things, and not in a desperate or disrespectful way. For those who feel like reading those, that's cool and all. But you don't really have to read what I wrote if you don't care. To be honest, in debates like these I don't even care what people think, because there still will be people who prefer Overwatch over TF2 and vice versa. It's not like I'm desperately trying to convince anyone, and I already know many people are too stubborn to be 'convinced' anyway. But I just have fun doing this I guess, And I do love TF2.
