Some evacuation orders lifted as containment grows on French Fire in Mariposa County 

Crews are fighting the fast-moving French Fire in Mariposa County, which triggered evacuation orders and warnings during Fourth of July festivities. Firefighters worked throughout the night to build a fire line around Mariposa, protecting the historic town from the flames. On Friday, Action News spoke with a resident whose home was destroyed by the fire.
