We believe that many of our rights and civil liberties as American citizens on American soil are at great risk and that a simple act of civil disobedience has the power to effect great change. While we have no interest or intention in breaking any law, we are willing to stand up for freedom and the constitution at any time and at any place and do so in a responsible and productive manner. It is our goal to create free and open discussion whenever possible in an effort to educate both ourselves and anyone with a desire to learn. It is our stand that we as Americans have been either uninformed or misinformed regarding our laws and rights for far too long. We are not attorneys or scholars, however we have been involved in professional photography for over 30 years and have had our rights and freedoms challenged more times than we can remember. No one group or person has the ability to effect change across the board, however we are committed to doing our part by continuing to stand up for our constitutional right to free press and the right to take photographs and video in public. I live in Corpus Christi and I frequent this post office with some of the worst customer service that I have received. I’ve previously filed complaints on an employee. It’s great to watch them get put in their place by you fine gentlemen.

That's so crazy! I heard Jason specifically say "yeah the reason I don't explain myself to people is because they go back in and give the employees information." And I was thinking to myself like man does that really happen? 5 minutes later... The absolute first time I have ever seen him immediately say to someone "exercising my rights" (when the lady asked) she goes back in and gives information to people inside. That is just crazy!

They have distributed memos to the postmasters in regarding to 1A Auditors and photography but many simply dont care to educate their staff or do what this knucklehead station manager did and try to push the idea that they were going to record financial transactions... The logic they use is so twisted and nonsensical.

So the station manager doesn't believe it is important to teach customers that public photography is allowed. Instead he creates a false narrative of 'capturing customers' private information, from many feet away. If that is possible then protect the machines. He creates his own interpretation of Poster 7.

I used to watch many auditors, but now it's just you and your son. I love that this is a learning opportunity for everyone you exchange dialogue with. I would like to think most who are confrontational are just in disagreement due to uncertainty. I see many people who open up and get comfortable after you share your purpose... it almost blindsides them because the very essence of our constitutional freedoms are not on the forefront. So thank you for bringing such awareness in times of uncertainty. Especially with the higher ups and people in positions of power. You are a strong influence and are connecting with leaders of this world, such as yourself.

Hey AP and WTW great videos as always. You are often asked how you are helping to uphold rights and create awareness and while I like your answers, one of the best ways is that I did not realize the extent of my own rights and how to handle law enforcement etc. until I started watching your videos. Now my curiosity, one "seed" that was planted, makes me research and educate myself and those around me about the constitution I should have learned more about in 5th grade but took for granted like probably 90% of the public today. Thank you for that!

The fault lies with management I'm afraid. The staff are obviously told that nobody is allowed to film in post offices, which is an obvious lie. Now, I understand most people just want to go to work to make money, but there are some of us who would actually take the time to learn what the rules are for whatever job you are doing, but some others are just not interested and take everything they are told literally. Also, I think it's a little rude to say that some jobs are just not worth doing, or mundane, what would you do if nobody wanted to work at the post office or McDonald's or at a car wash, or clean the streets, or pick up litter, or a myriad of other jobs? It is wrong to say that all these jobs are done by low education people, some people don't have the opportunities that a lot of other people have, some people are working there temporarily for whatever reason, so don't assume they're all low education, that is disrespectful. How would you like it if when using a public restroom it was never cleaned? How would you feel if you went to buy your favourite sandwich there was no one there to make it for you? How would you feel if you went to a restaurant and sat down for a meal there was no one to cook it or serve it to you? All jobs are important, all people are important. I just think you need to consider many things when making such sweeping statements about people.

I've seen this station manager twice before on other channels. He got one lady arrested saying she was there recording people to get their card numbers. He did it again with another auditor and was recorded telling the police that the guy was trying to steal card numbers. He was told to leave under threat of arrest but refused and stood his ground. He was not arrested and remained doing what he was doing in response to the one arrested. The cops I'm sure were called but have learned their lesson. That man is a liar and has gotten more than one arrested.

Since 1775 the postal service has only had employees cause problems within post offices, hence the saying "going postal" was created. Not to mention if someone was actually going to cause harm to a post office its not like a sign is going to stop them.

I’ve come to the realization that upper management of the USPS has very little control over the people below them. It’s time management took control and demand all levels under them adhere to the written standards of the PO. The employees have long ago turned into typical government employees of which little is expected of them and even less is received by us, their customers. A perfect example is the new rate hike and admitted slower service.

Management in the PO only cares about the numbers. Why? Their bonus depends on good numbers. And, yes they do get a bonus. their next promotion is affected by the numbers.

I've always wanted a video on your stamps. Another question - if you save your receipts as I'm assuming you do, do you save a copy? Those thermal paper receipts are not going to withstand the test of time - they may look good one moment and be unreadable the next.

Maybe youve heard of these things called fonts? It is obvious why she stepped in between, as her boss was quite far in the background, and she was opening her till for business (you know, her job). It is Jason's fault for obvious reasons, to anyone with eyes, and half a brain. It was at that point, that he was disrupting the flow of business by restricting potential customers access to the counter at her till. I honestly cant believe I have to explain something so rudimentary. I am a huge fan of AP, and have been for a LONG time, however, he was actually doing something he could legally be asked to leave for. Not good! As far as Nelda goes, Im surprised she didnt scold her boss. She seems like the kind of entitled bitch to pull that on her superior as well, lol!

@@johnv3733 albeit that is possible, might I say even probable, you are incorrect about my insinuation of anything. I merely stated Jason was wrong for blocking access to Nelda's till, which he was. He is a grown ass man, and is fully capable of moving 3ft to the right where the center register was vacant to continue his conversation, freeing Nelda's register for business. Jason is 100% at fault for that. Only a fool would argue otherwise. That being said, the only reason I even care about that is because I want Jason to be winning 100%. I enjoy his videos, and appreciate what he is doing. But when he does things that he can potentially be removed from the premise for, that can possibly negate his mission for something totally avoidable. That was it. I didnt insinuate anything, everything I stated was clearly overt, and factual. The only opinion I expressed was that Nelda was a bitch, lol

These employees learned nothing and will continue to let their customers live in fear when auditors come to that location. Jason and Ben, you did your best. Not every audit achieves it's educational goal but you did make some customers aware of your purpose. Great job as always.

i almost think you need to print up a mission statement so as the ones who ask what are you doing but dont want to take the time to talk or the ones you prefer not to speak to you can just offer them a concept of what it is that you do.
