Wow Dumbdog and 5up were up against blatant cheating from DK and a dead guardian angel Ellum,intentional or not, why were they undeafened second round.

It was so satisfying when Dumbdog still managed to kill Kimi after that Lol

What do you expect though? Ellum is garbage and is just an NPC that the three good players use to beat each other. I've never seen the guy be actually good at anything or have any sort of self-awareness.

To be fair, DK sused out 5up on his own. Ellum was just being ellum as usual so I feel like it is fine.

5up has been having desync issue with this map. It was only right that dk sus him because dk saw 5ups movement. Bc on 5ups screen dk wasn’t close enough for dk to have seen 5up move like that.

But DK didn't know FOR SURE. Ellum confirmed it, so now there is NO DOUBT IN HIS MIND AT ALL. The difference would be DK saying "I mean I don't know for sure" in a meeting which would give 5up an actual chance instead of the tunnel-vision hell that he got.@@Kascep

​@@Kascep If trolls are gonna chat mid match it's one thing but they shouldn't use the info to win. DK's "I feel bad, kill me" after using info to get out half of the other team never balances out.

In fairness, he saw 5up playing vision right before ellum said anything, so he would've gotten it anyway. But yeah, it's kinda lame that ellum hard confirmed it.

@@TheProswagonist I think there's a chance he could have been gaslit out of it if it wasn't hard confirmed. Not likely since he tunnels so hard, but the doubt might have made it less convincing at the very least.

he never does this! this is the only time I’ve seen it happen. I do agree it’s not what you’d always want to happen but he knew anyway it was 5up! and he’s chaotic so ppl don’t always believe his susses anyway, I promise if they’re not mad about it-we don’t have to be 🤣

@@renny0317 I wouldn't say never, it happens semi frequently when some combination of him, koji, steve, ellum, or dumbdog won't deafen at the start of the first round and someone's reaction usually confirms who is good or bad.

what you’re referencing isn’t the same as this specific scenario & normally it’s done in harmless ways (i.e., right before they kill the person they’re talking to undeafened). at the end of the day, if dumbdog-who was the imposter-isn’t mad about it why are there randoms in the YT comment section so pressed? you’ve gotta know they’ve been playing this game for years & can’t take it seriously every single time

@@renny0317 I'd say that we aren't shown if the imposters were told what happened, in all the dead chat clips we get, Ellum never mentions it again and neither does DK, had we seen that, less people would probably be so ribbed. I thought it was sucky but I wasn't hard pressed about it.

Yeah it's literally cheating. It may not be intentional, but they are intentionally setting themselves up to cheat. It happens way too often.

If we're being honest, I think at least half of them don't "enjoy" this game or aspects of the lobby anymore and just try to make it through the allotted time any way they can.

​@@citrineconjurer afaik for a lot of them streaming among us is where a decent chunk of their income comes from. if they stop playing they'd probably lose a lot of subs, even if they switch over to a new game, so they probably feel they're stuck with it now. :\

​@@kalakady8there's a glitch called snap walk or something, very similar to space walking for medbay, where you sort of walk a certain distance and then walk back really quickly onto the task and it confirms you're crew

The problem is that it is a genuine slip-up. Ellum slips up a lot and by not deafening, DK got hard confirmation on 5up. Yes, he saw him play vision, but that could have been argued out of. As soon as Ellum said it though it put any possibility of doubt out of mind. DK always goes all-in on sus so it's easy to see why he sounded like he was sure even if he wasn't. But as soon as Ellum said "how'd you know?" everything past that was with non-game info that 5up was an imposter. So of course DK would sound even more confident afterwards because he now had proof about 5up. It's a reason why they deafen in the first place and let dead chat be dead chat, otherwise it's completely unfair for the imposters.

People in among us comments always get more upset about trivial nonsense than the actual players.

Don't find a way to defend this. It wouldn't have happened if dk just deafened as always. That's the whole point of deafen. To avoid these mistakes, I'm aware nobody is mad at ellum, but we're mad at DK, and eventually, I could *potentially* see him out of hafus lobby if this keeps going.

Well that's why it's a rule for dead players and alive players not to talk - to prevent stuff like this from happening, even if accidental.
