Yeah I think Giants are getting underrated big time in ranked. If we can assume stun power will be similarly linked to DP costs, then Giants can have huge benefits to you in ranked. 1. Increased health, 2 This switch in combo, and 3. Swapping into a low BP matchup to use passive super armor with.
The Great Ape switch in hit was crazy when I saw it, 8k damage for nothing, some B2/Supers dont even do 8k LMAO. I wish I found the clip again but it was on cell phone footage at a Game Demo unfortunately :p
Great video fr and I’ve been wondering can we combo after rush supers with homing dash like bt3 ?ughh I’m mad bc I haven’t really seen anyone try it and also as for the ki blast combo I wander how much their ki blast proficiency affects it and if they’re a ki blast type it could be even more damage then what we are seeing here and that’s scary 👀
It could be an overall strength of the character thing too but idk who else has that specific type of Scattershot/Shotgun Ki blast. I am definitely curious what other characters have it.
i don’t understand the DP system, what’s stopping you from picking base goku (for a lesser dp cost) and then transforming into blue instead of just picking blue goku right off the bat
You definitely can do that, you just need to get the Skill Counts/Blast Stocks to transform in the fight. Typically it is more cost effective to do that but they also added a lot more defensive mechanics in SZ that use Skill Counts/Blast Stocks so you lose out on using them as often as well as your Blue Skill Abilities. Sort of a balancing act building your team
@@codereecefn that is one of my first planned videos is structuring combos with all characters that I hope to have out by Oct 10th. I have to test to see if more things are vanishable though because that means safe combos will work quite differently.
Yeah, I think that is a large reason BT3 didn't use it in it's competitive scene but with SZ it is built into the Ranked Ladder so will be harder to split from :p
@@kingku1793 some characters do more damage but because of the game mechanics they could be considered weaker than other characters depending on their abilities how telegraphed their animations are etc. DP Cost will matter in SZ as well for Online Ranked

@@kingku1793 gotcha, yeah it is also weird because the BT3 competitive scene didn't use the DP system so will be interesting to see how SZ will play out and what players decide.
