What is it with Skull Merchant palyers that make it their life mission to drain any semblance of fun out of the game? Every one of them does the same plays. Gen defender, then that fails, tunnel someone, that fails, bloodlust every opportunity, that fails, slug everyone, that fails, NOED into hook camp. Every lame and funless playstyle just becomes their entire personality as soon as they choose to play SM
@thedutywarlord264 yeah. I took 7 months off from Christmas until the anniversary event. My first game back on was against a SM who slugged everyone at 5 gens and stood there nodding at us until we all bled out. No one teabagged or BM'd her. Instant reminder why I stopped playing the game
I hate when killers play like this Chucky, it´s so borinngggggggg to be slugged so many times; dude just PICK UP christ´s sake. Meanwhile Skull Merchant being the real "get a load of this guy"
Idk what that merchant was doing. It almost feels like she wanted to lose, or else she would’ve made much better choices. Ima be completely real here, I don’t think there is a singular skull merchant main in existence after the original “chess merchant” guy. If there are, it’s probably like 5% of the total skull merchant players. The other 95% is just people doing her for a daily.

No, it’s not fun when survivors are too stubborn to learn how to play against a B tier killer at best and simply DC or kill themselves on hook. But I’m someone who has autism and the Skull Merchant has become one of hyperfixations, and that’s why I play her.
@@samarieow Its not about wanting to learn to play against her or not, she's just unfun to go against no matter what. Games against her aren't hard, they are just painfully slow and boring. Most people would rather get cancer than play against her. That's how boring she is. She's the most hated killer across BOTH survivor and killer community. At some point, you guys (The ones who believe she ain't that bad) gotta stop coping. Some people enjoy playing her, some people enjoy playing against her, but its a very and I mean VERY small minority. Edit : Also, nothing against you if you like playing her, to each their own (I understand why you're playing her from what you said). Just don't think its because we're stubborn that we're dc'ing lol.
Not in solo q please. I don't like her either, but if you're gonna queue up for another game as soon as the penalty is over, just play it out. With Skull Merchant I really do get it, but you have to understand that there are hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of people who have this mindset for each killer, because they in particular don't like them. Despite all the improvements made to it over the years, solo queue is still almost unplayable because your random teammates will quit for any reason you can imagine. I've messaged hundreds of my DCing teammates after games to get their reasoning, and the most common by a solid margin is "I always DC against [killer]". SM is (understandably) the most common relative to how often I see them, followed by Legion, then Pinhead. This carries to killers that are *almost* universally liked by both sides: Huntress, Demo, Neme, *PRE-BUFF BILLY*??? I'm sure "I'm upset that I went down too quickly" is an even more common reason-but those people usually don't respond-so who knows. Anyway, if you're in an squad sure, DC as a team and save yourselves the headaches; but as solo it's really painful that the majority of my losses are something completely out of my (and my-other-two-teammates-who-want-to play-it-out's) control. Especially when the killer is trash with them and we would have very clearly demolished them if the match-killer had stuck around long enough to find out. Oh, and if you disagree, I'll do it for you: "☝🤓" (look I was writing an essay for Eng101 and I'm still kinda wired ok)
Ignoring that people do that already, this is just so pathetic. There's other players in the game, including your teammates and the person who purchased Skully. This isn't eveb a skull problem, yes, it's made easier with her power but you could also fo this with any killer abd surveillance.
Went up against a very angry 🏳️🌈 girl that banned me from her stream just because I joined in and said “super fun game GG” She was running a slug build with Skull Merchant 🤷
Skull players are known to be quite cringe anyway, so it aint really surprising. Just suck they dont have their own private server to ruin each other's live since they love doing that so much
This is the only correct reaction to her existence. I like the Lyra twins, but if they removed the entire chapter I'd call it a net positive. SM is never gonna work. They would need to scrap almost all of her assets and remake the entire killer from scratch, short of the character model itself (which also feels rushed and isn't particularly intimidating or interesting, but at least it doesn't really matter from a gameplay perspective) for her to not be boring at best.
