Some Men Are Offended By Mother Lewis' Sermon! 

You may not be " rich" or wealthy, but manage sensibly. Live in your financial lane. And as a man, I am definitely not offended with her message.

In other cultures, regardless of skin color, the man is expected to have means to even date/court/ seek a wife. He is expected to support his wife and children. Not barely support them.

This is what she should be teaching young women: “the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things- that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.” ‭‭Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Not sure why men are offended?! For decades and still to this day.... Preachers ( men ) have been talking on women! Deal with it! For those that say she doesn't teach us women. She does that and more!!

Mother Lewis is 80 years old and is from the old school, where the husband was the sole provider and everything, paid the bills and the woman didn’t have to work. That’s fine. But today it’s different. The man and the woman is the breadwinner.

That’s not preaching.

Nawwwwwww that is not in the bible. Let him show you his bank account? Thats not bible teaching thats the teaching of the world. You might as well be preaching the scrub song. In the flesh. So if you can sleep in a car, and eat beans now you have to look for a man with a bank account ? If you are sleeping in your car and eating beans then you should not worry whats in his bank account. Come on now the church is separate from the world. We walk by faith and not sight. Looking at someones bank account is looking 100% by sight.

There's no excuse nowadays for these sorry no good lil boys because many of them are not men. Their mommas and families can support them all they want but God will hold them accountable. Single mothers like me need to recognize that Christ is your husband, provider and your everything NOT NO MAN and especially not no little boy. Trust Christ and in due time, God will send you a loving and a real man who loves and submits to Him.

That’s actually the problem. The woman sit around in church twice during the week and all morning Saturday for: prayer meeting, choir rehearsal, Dance rehearsal, praise team rehearsal, cleaning the church, and board meeting. Then All day Sunday. Early morning service, then afternoon service, then pm service. Then work on Monday. She don’t have time to meet anyone. 🤦🏽‍♀️

In as much as I know she is saying it from a good place. It also carries a risk of raising entitled people. Here is my take, either marriage is an act of worship or for personal ambition. This self righteous l, I am better than thee attitude, just watch.

God has given a clear, manageable plan for success in life, but he doesn't make anyone choose it. He leaves that for each person to decide (Deu. 30:19). I think Mother Lewis is a wise woman😊.
