I swear I grew up in the wrong time. I love to sit and watch old sitcoms. I love that time so simple and peaceful and original in reference to entertainment 💖
My daughter said years ago fancy two Michael Crawfords . I asked her what she meant...the one in Some Mother's do have 'em and the Phantom of the Opera. She didn't realise it was the same man..such incredible talent !
I love it too and I am 13. (my channel says I am 14 but it was an accident) I have been "obsessed" with Michael Crawford since I was 9. He is so awesome!
second series were better than the first series as he seems to get more demented rather than naive and more weird mannerisms and more ludicrous situations a work of comedy art
It's amazing how other actors could keep a straight face when acting alongside him. The man's so funny! BTW, Michael has NOT died you guys. He attended a fan event in California in June and he looks fantastic!
Michael is a great and amazing talent. Awesome As Frank Spencer in Some Mother's Do Have Em and fantastic as the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera. Thank you Michael for sharing your wonderful talents with the world.
I love this show. I wish they had recorded more episodes. “Columbo simple” , Ha! So good! I love the way Bettye talks. Greatly talented cast and writers. We love Frank and Bettye in America.
Michael Crawford is not only a great comedic actor but an awesome dramatic actor with a marvelous singing voice! I really do love him as Frank Spencer the best, though,
@Delboylover1997 I think LOADS of people got bullied at school....I did, and my bro did, and the best thing to do, honestly, is to hit the bullies as HARD as you can..but If you can't do this, or don't want to, at least try to stick up for yourself..bullies are COWARDS..as an adult now, I realise the kids who were bullies at school were lacking in many areas..and were actually very weak people who bully to make themselves ''look big'' in front of others. You will be ok. :)
One thing I've noticed about Some Mothers is the complete change of Frank's personality from the early series to the later ones. In the later episodes, like here, he'd gained a lot of confidence and seemed to speak more poshly! Anyway always enjoy them :)
I like how Dick Bentley, known as Ronald Glum in the old sketches by Frank Muir and Denis Norden, played here as Frank Spencers grandpa. He made a fantastic apperance.
Thank goodness Frank didn't get to Australia although as Michael Crawford he would have been a BIG plus. While a lot did emigrate and made a huge contribution to developing the Country we could have done without the influx of radical Unionists who bought with them their destructive tactics which set Australia back no end.
I have heard plenty of Michael Crawford interviews but he never have any credit to Michelle who played Betty in Some Mother's . I heard he found it difficult to acknowledge costars in case it took the shine off him.
This guy here is the real Mr. mean.. before Mr. Bean was even a TV series. This man here is the one that started the whole scenario of the Mr. bean character… this was a very good show in the 70s they should bring this back / some others.. don’t have them very funny British comedy
@Delboylover1997 go to kick boxing classes and slowly youll be the man of the school , and stick to education and study hard and in a few years time we see who got further in life you or the bullies !
@Delboylover1997 Please do not let yourself be bullied. You must tell someone about what's happening to you and adopt the zero tolerance. I was bullied as a child (I'm 47 now!!) but it still upsets me. Also I have a daughter who is 13 and she was bullied a little at school. I was round that school straightaway and sorted it out. Please tell the school AND your family.
