it’s now 2022 and i completely agree! marleys/melissa’s voice is so incredibly underrated and spectacular. a lot of the time in season 4 i 100% thought she was so much better than rachel

I am really impressed by Marley's voice. I wasn't sure if she was vocally close to Rachel, but I must say she brings fresh new pipes to the mix. I think she's very good in my opinion.

Hey guys! They don't make songs to make it better than the original. That's not what the show is about. It wasn't made to make the song better than the actual artist or to give you something to criticize. They put it on the show because they try to give teens advice on every day life and it just so happens that teenagers like music.... so that's why they put music into the show so more people will watch because it is music that they like. The show gives people advice on getting through certain situations, Gay, teen pregnancy, lesbian, transgender, teen romance, alcohol, etc. so just do every one a favor and stop searching for things to criticize just because it does not make you happy. It is not better than the original but that was not their goal.... so move on in life and find something better to do.
Yes, but u've to realize that we're not talking about the show, we're talking about the songs they play and many of them are much better than the originals, that's all. I think everybody knows that Glee is a show which try to get people into music and daily situations...

Soooo...I remember watching the ‘supergirl’ musical-crossover episode before even knowing Melissa sang or was on Glee and was not impressed. But...after listening to this performance of hers I stand corrected. This cover is beautiful and flawless on her part. Slayed every single moment. 😍😍
right! like don’t get me wrong she sang moon river really well but it just wasn’t the right song for her voice in my opinion. but watching melissa as marley, she has a phenomenal range and voice!! like at 3:13😍😍. such an underrated voice and deserved so much more than what she was given
i actually like this cover a lot, doesn't matter if it is auto-tuned or not...they did a great job with the song. The new voices sounds pretty good together

I was literally thinking the same thing, but didn't want to write it just in case somebody else had already appreciated it like I have. The blend of Ryder's, Jake's, Kitty's and Marley's voice here is beautiful!! I love it especially when Kitty drops her high note a little and the harmony there is just... gorgeous!
