I like to think as much as Shadow despises Eggmans actions, he deep down doesn't wish to kill the last known Robotnik relative, but he absolutely will when provoked
There was a time I played as Silver. Shadow bumps into me saying "Make way for the ultimate lifeform!" And right after he said that I hit him with a rocket and Silver says "Make way for the ultimate TEAM."
"There's worse in your future, Silver" I love how all of the other ones are just either playful banter or childish bickering, but then fucking Zavok of all people, the one with the least personality in his own game, hits with the hardest insults
like imagine some guy nobody knows just fucking you over in a race and without missing a beat he just turns around and reminds you of how bad your life is
I think Sonic tells his friends about his adventures, I mean he told amy in the story book games and Tails about his experience with the hyper go on power.

@@George-zk4nv That's different from what we're seeing in this video. Sonic characters are actually having special interactions. Even Sonic And Sega All-Stars Racing didn't have this kind of interaction but just catchphrases.
@@George-zk4nv Like the other guy said, Mario Kart (nor Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled) does this. (They also don't have the unmentioned environmental special dialogue either.) It's not surprising though, because Sonic racers are typically innovative in several areas. So many people downplay the series so much they forget and/or fail to notice some of the amazing attention to detail Sonic's racers or other games have. And the dialogue system is just one unique feature compared to other kart racers. Way back to Sonic Adventure 1&2 even had (has) idle animated dialogue tied to the level they're on, in addition to other things.
@@awesomebeast5799Don't belive in a liar. Iwatch Sonic interact with the entire cast except Metal Sonic in the rivals series. But he did in Free Riders. Silver even interact with Rouge, Tails Kunckles. They all know each other.
Admittedly, I heard something different than what the dialog box says. Instead of as always I heard as*hole...not sure how though. Yes I did censor it in this case.
Two more Eggman lines I've heard that I find hilarious "I love helping people! WHO SAID THAT!?" - Eggman after helping a teammate or giving an item. "Once Evil Genius, Now drift master! Still genius though." - Only heard it once after Eggman does enough lvl 3 drift boosts, need the AI to do it or have a friend playing as Eggman.

This was mainly due to false allegations that he sexually harassed Monica Rial (Funimation's VA for Bulma in Dragonball Z Kai and Dragonball Super).
@@zakku_tempist it would be hard to even have them as a romantic pair in the first place being that they come from two completely seperate worlds being from the Future and the princess of another dimension respectively. Neither of them are just gonna Abaddon their duties just to play kissy face.
@@dantemustdie00 true, but the first time we see them together blaze was with silver in the future, so in 06 cannon blaze is only sent to the sol dimension due to her absorbing the fire thing (i forget names) but in actual cannon silver and blaze don't meet (as far as I know) till sonic forces (if I'm wrong tell me) so IDK. the Sonic time line is a bit odd.
@@zakku_tempist sonic 06 is canon but the timeline is erased with blaze being transferred to sol dimension. their actual first meeting with hinting of been a team duo before, a callback to 06, was in sonic colors DS at the eggman amusement park. even after colors DS they meet again in sonic generations during sonic's birthday party.

@@eeveequeenhanna You're not wrong, but Xangel has a point. Even if you don't mean it that way, saying "who's your daddy" to someone who lost the closest thing they had to a father isn't right. And it's not like Tails doesn't know about Shadow's past. All three members of Team Sonic, plus Amy, Rouge, Eggman, and possibly Omega, are well aware of what he's been through. The instant those words escaped Tails' mouth, he should have realised his mistake and apologized. Tails: "Who's your daddy, Shad... ohhhhhh... um, sorry, I didn't mean..." Shadow: "I'll pretend I didn't hear that." Better yet, don't have him say it at all. There's more than one way to insult someone. Tails could have said something along the lines of "eat my dust" or "catch ya later," but no, the writers just had to go with *_that_* option, because they're either unfamiliar with Shadow's history or they just don't care if it's out of character for Tails to say such a thing to one of his friends and not regret it. Possibly both.
One of my favorite and funniest interactions on this game are Tails (when he’s ready for the race) (“I’m so excited!”), Blaze (“Yikes!”, “My enemies always fall before me”), Sonic (“Hey! Who needs their bacon saved?”, “Come on, Eggman! You wanna win this or what?”) Vector (“Ouch! Right in the kisser!”) Omega (“I am the robot ahead of all the meatbags”) and Rouge (“Sorry to let you down, sugar”, “This is as good as a mile, sugar”, “You’re mine now, sugar”, “Time to charge this baby up”, “Oof! Payback’s comin’ Blaze”, “That’s how you do it”, “You know how I like it, sugar”, “Don’t say I never got you anything”, and “Shadow! I could kiss you!”
I love how everyone loves to trash on pontac and graff era of writing, yet this is arguably the best and funniest writing in the series, and was written/localised by the two
You have a point, but at the sametime you can't ignore the decently high number of stupid lines alongside the good ones. It could have been so much better than it is.
Blaze: "Silver, I thought we were friends!" I like the call back to 2006 when Blaze was in the future with Silver, but in the franchises fixed cannon of Blaze being a princess from the Sol dimension like she originally was, does raise some questions. How do you even maintain a friendship if you need to travel back in time a few centuries and they need to cross dimensions to meet up?
I like to think that she had gotten some free time, and decided to visit Sonic and Cream in their dimension. But there was an error: she got the right dimension, but wrong time. And that's when she met silver

I always love it when there's a big multiplayer game where all the characters talk to each other. It's just fun seeing what they would say if they ever met. Omega and Omochao? Shadow and Big? Blaze and Zavok? Sure, why not?
Chao: “metal sonic were both robots!” I don’t know why but I love this and for some god damn reason I love chaos voice and if we could make our own team in this game for story mode or just at all I would do a team of robo bois Also something I do when I play as metal sonic and someone says something no matter what it is I will respond accordingly if it’s something nice I will respond with something nice if it is something mean I will tear there soul into tiny bits roasting them hotter then the god damn sun times 10
