The fact that hungrybox’s fs meter tournament clips are frequently showing up is saying something, people should follow his lead and allow Fs meter singles as an alternate tournament format, because people are proving that it’s HYPE

I agree with having the fs meter tournaments again. Other than the cheesy Peach fs, the games got hella hype. Heck, the Peach cheese even got me rooting for Sonix which never happens.

Right? It's not like it will hurt the current tournaments, only something extra that might give some light to a new fighting style, and surely that will bring new players that are more interested in this format than classical ruleset. Best of all, it's gonna place a precedent, that will say that you can play the game competetively any way you can, not only by following a specific ruleset, which in the long term will have the community more open minded for more important topics in the future; even having a completely new way of playing the eventual smash 6 game would be neat.

@@Totsy30 And then there's Zelda with her LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE-TO-DODGE Final Smash. The moment Zelda uses her Final Smash, you are, in fact, already caught in it unless there's a wall between your character and her. Zelda's Final Smash is way too OP!! Zelda's Final Smash needs extremely drastic nerfs! When I see Zelda in an online match with FS Meter on, I almost always immediately forfeit.

I’m not too surprised to see Sora getting a 22-hit combo, especially since it was on Bowser of all characters. I do admire the dedication that was put into the combo though.
