Some of the DIRTIEST Carpet Cleaning Ever in this home we did in October 2021. We did not think the dirtiest carpet we have come across in a home should be cleaned. Recommended replacement of the dirtiest carpet cleaning job with urine we had come across in some time. We took on the carpet cleaning of what can be considered some of the dirtiest carpet cleaning in 2021. I would bet money there probably was an habitual candle burner in there or something else was going on. If you see something like is shown @ 2:28 and @ 2:52 you can mark it down that it was not tracked in, but came in the air and attached itself to the fibers. For some reason polys really attrack air born pollutants like nobody's business. Notice how if perfectly outlines the furniture. It could be from a fireplace if they have one or some other soot source. I can tell for absolute certain most of what was in the bedroom was air born soot. It surrounded all the furniture and went all the way up to the walls. That's a pretty certain tip off there's some serious soot going on. I've seen some just as bad over the years and it helps to know what you're dealing with. A lot of traffic lane sprays won't do the trick on something like that. I have boosted with a degreaser in the past on those, but am using your soy based G-Force booster now with good results with more than one prespray. I always used a good citrus based in the past, but the price per gallon is just ridiculous now. I have zero doubt there is a soot situation going on there and it is more attracted to polys than it is to nylon. There is zero chance that was all tracked in on shoes. I'm 100% certain of it. Notice that old nylon didn't have anywhere near the same situation as the bedroom. Somebody put some soot out in that house!!! Btw, I find the G-Force really gives my presprays that extra kick for greasy, grimy carpets or ones that have been let go for years. I don't leave home without it.

Good possibility. The man of the house was also a mechanic, so we were fighting grease tracked in from his work. And then there was the elderly dog who was leaking... So many things going on in this place for sure

i absolutely love shag carpet. it reminds me of my grandfathers house as a kid...he had this basement area that was fully finished with an old console tv and comfy couches. it stepped down into this particular section. sliding glass doors...a small bar. This was back in the 80s. best time for this country ever.

With my knee having been in bad condition (the previous installed one falling out) I didn't feel comfortable to try and video and clean, so really missed some great vaccuming video. Hey mark it's me AGAIN lol. I always love advice and you give the best around. I'm 2 years into taking over a family own and run carpet cleaning company. I do all the work myself except for my large jobs, I average about 20 commerical restaurant's a month not including some residential so I have a great amount of work and always look for more. I was confronted by a customer yesterday wondering when I was going to raise my prices, my father kept his prices the same for a few years now and never changed them except so adding a fuel service charge. My question is what would you consider me raising my prices up percentage wise? This would be around the board on steam cleaning vlm and tile and grout? Thanks for all the great advice so far I love your work you guys do!!

First congratulations on such a deep book of customers! That's a great amount of regular accounts! I have a video on pricing I will go find and add here in the comments to you if it can help. For us, we just raised our prices 8 percent. We are trying to at least recover some of the expenses including some of our fuel costs. It will not cover all of our overall expenses, but we are hoping maybe some pricing will stabilize or even slightly decrease. Right now, many people understand our prices might need to increase too. Take a look at how much time you are spending on each job, then take a look at how much more money you might be spending on fuel and chemical products. Also consider in you might have some parts replacmemt (and of course maintenance) that will be effected by the current inflation. Figure what you might need to try and stay on top of your expenses and make a price increase now that might also accommodate some future additional costs so you don't maybe have to raise your prices for some time. Let me find that video and put in another post to you here

Hey mark it's me AGAIN lol. Took your advice on the price increase and thank you again. I do have another question. I noticed in alot of your videos it seems that you run your butler on mach 2. I noticed my father and I have been suing our on mach 1. I'm wondering what's the difference besides the rpm and possible slightly better suction. Do you recommend using my unit at mach1 or switching to mark2

Me and my family have run on Mach 2 for most all of our cleaning. We like the max performance for the suction and even heat. We really have not used the Mach 1 level much. Maybe an occasional area rug. For Upholstery, I actually clean on the idle setting. You could try some comparison cleaning to see if you notice a difference between Mach 1 or 2. We just have noticed our units seem to have more power though on 2

There are times the Zipper SS Super Spinner can punch through some really terrible soils and grease, but you can push the psi up on a regular Zipper in bad areas and get excellent results too. We find the SS really will kill it on cement like greasy carpet

just did the in laws carpet today and yeah the water was a bit yellow as i started to clean their carpets with our carpet cleaner man i can't believe how dirty their carpet was it even with two full tanks of solution in the hall way and two full tanks in the living room there was so much chocolate milk water coming up it was even coming up when i did a rinse in both places. will have to clean both areas again in a couple more days to make sure i got all the dirt out of the carpeting. XD

The screen shot I used from the video had too much might in the window, and was making everything Grey and white. Couldn't get it to balance to more natural color like the video. I don't have crazy photoshop skills and only use a basic Thumbnail maker from Adobe. I honestly wish I could have captured a better picture during the cleaning. I really don't like this picture and Thumbnail myself. But I now try if I can to get pics as the equipment I have upgraded too for a camera and lense are now better in low light and with our night restruant work it's been a pretty big help.

Psh, sadly the before video makes this house looks clean due to my dying dogs. Can't afford to clean the carpet professionally and the 100$ bissel and hoovers on amazon are useless.

I'm sorry to hear about your pups. It is definitely a difficult situation and time of life with this happening. Even with my large and expensive truckmount carpet cleaner, removing urine and such from carpet can be difficult. Our P-Lime-Zyme or P-Zyme can help because of the bacteria working on organic, but I have to say, it will not always make things back to like new and replacement at some point might be needed. I wish you the best during this time and do thank you for being here with us to share. ❤

The Bissell Big Green rental machine works wonderfully for cleaning carpets at home. It won't be able to extract urine deep in the carpet but will make it look clean if you use professional products (like Saigers products).
