I suppose that's why we value a good comedian. I've heard most of his jokes more than once and they still get me. They say laughter is the best medicine, and there's real truth in that. Certainly better than drugging people up.

I first encountered him as a guest on Top Gear. He didn't have the audience working for him there, and yet he was good enough to make me look him up.

It’s not purely by accident, I’m sure. I imagine he’d engage longer when there’s a pretty woman in the shot. Or maybe the kind of guy brave enough to banter with Jimmy freaking Carr was also brave enough to pursue a very attractive woman.
