It's me. I AM everyone. I used to say that this show is nothing but demons being horny and them throwing disses at each other. I once came across this show and got interested in it because HELLO? the art style was just BEAUTIFUL but I immediately dropped it because I couldn't stand the constant meaningless swearing on the first few episodes BUT I saw Verosika Mayday AND HOLY SHOOT Yes Queen so I watched it again only to be hooked by the drama and angst it gives me.

those people are full of more shit than Godzilla's toilet after Tex Mex night (Wich to him is eating the entirety of Mexico)

Idk tho the latest episode seems to be pretty good, add a lot of depths to otherwise pretty shallow character(s)

Someone was saying how perhaps Blitz convinced himself that since Stolas was some kinda big special royal he couldn’t get hurt (physically or emotionally) so all of Blitz’s weird shiz wouldn’t hurt Stolas. Also the absolute concern he feels and the fact that he’s too emotionally constipated to come visit him

Kids dont always see that parents can suffer too My dad went through similar to stolas in his marriage, it was only when i was older i understood how much he sacrificed for us, how much pain he went through to protect us Until he couldn't take it anymore and had to get out He took us with him as soon as he was able Thats is why i hate people who sh*t on stolas, they say viv just wants to make us feel sad for him, they dub him as a terrible dad, but they know nothing He's sacrificed most of his life for his duty, others needs, and his daughter, bad parents dont do that He cant be faulted for chasing one slither of happiness in life

A cruel way to answer that would be, “It’s because he loves you so much that he hates your mom just as much.“ Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that it’s Octavia’s fault; what I’m trying to say is that like a good parent, Stolas is trying to give his daughter a life she deserves and that life isn’t lavish but simple and ordinary one; something I would take that over all the riches in the world. Stella has always been someone he wasn't fond of, and their differences in desires are not opposites but incompatible, like matter is with anti/dark matter.

​I always thought Stolas was a good parent and it was more Stella pushing Via onto Stolas, because Stella hates him so much.

@@redbear4350 I guess i was lucky, my dad was still there for us as much as possible, he wouldn't hesitate to help, still doesn't, i can call him any time and he'll drop everything I see stolas as the same, he still loves his daughter and thinks about her even while he struggles, his daughter being affected is inevitable, these situations hurn for everyone involved thats just how it is

I thought it was a great choice too that most of the dialogue - even from other characters - is his own voice. Emphasizes his biggest issue is his internalized self-loathing.

For me this is one of the most telling parts to Stolas character. He could have so easily sat down and told Viva how abusive, controlling and cruel Stella has been over the years but he doesn't. Even though Stolas could he won't disrespect Via’s mother.

And it is so hard hitting how common this is in relationships; It's not a healthy relationship to be in, but when one has a kid, some parents want to stick around for the kids' sake... out of love. Though his actions hurt his daughter, it's clear he does not mean for them to. And sadly, Blitzo doesn't understand how close he's gotten with, so despite him getting a divorce, the man who liberated him from the forced relationship may not be there to support him afterwards. But at least he'll always have Olivia.

To escape from the negative uncomfortable dinner. And since we can hear the music, she definitely has the volume on high. So I don't think she did not hear anything. Stoloas was too deep in his own thoughts and reading, plus didn't care about what she was screaming about, because she is always yelling about something. but he make a face like, bitch. The Fire Incident definitely doesn’t help with whatever the hell is going on with Blitz’s issues. What I’m saying is he hates himself for it and so it gets in the way of important things like understanding feelings

Ugh I’m hoping my friend can finally see this side of him too because they got to dinner at Ozzy’s and was like man Blitz is a dick, and I wanted to explain but they just need to finish the available episodes. Also on top of the fire causing him to lose family and friends, his dad was a jerk. I can’t imagine this helped with Blitz’s self image from the beginning. So that and then feeling like the cause of a horrific accident no wonder he hasn’t been a good partner or felt like anyone could ever actually care for him. I think making up with Fizz definitely helped him start to heal

There’s so many layer to it (also there’s a chance that he had a crush on Fizz when they were younger and he was going to confess his feelings in a letter the night of the fire. So hey may very well associate confessing his feelings with trauma. What I’m saying is that if this is even a little bit true it definitely contributed to his self confidence issues)

Blitz killed his mom and destroyed his childhood crush (fizz) as well as the life of his sister. He acts in a way that pushes people away before they get hurt. But it also confirms to himself that he's a POS. He wants to open up to stolas, but he's afraid that doing so would turn out poorly again. He's also convinced that stolas is only into it for the sex.

Me, too. My husband said something like this to me & it broke me when it was in the show. My husband is that guy who never let his guard down & had trouble opening up to anyone. He has a terrible childhood. It took me years to get him to trust me of letting him know he could tell me things & telling him things about myself to let him know it was okay. We went to his dad's funeral & many of his family there treated him badly based on lies people were telling about him & us... (idc what they say about me) he took me to the side & he said to me, "I just want to go home. Home is safe." He never felt like home was a safe place or like his house was home... he told me he feels like I am his home. So, when Octavia said this & we were watching it, it just made me tear up.

The white parts are burn scars from an accident he caused that affected Fizzerolli as well. (The raspy voice, robotic limbs, shattered horns, knowing sign language, and the mostly white body is because he was point blank on the explosion)

It actually makes a lot of sense why poor Blitz is afraid of love and intimacy, not only did he feel he lost everyone he cared about in the fire in some way (that he no doubt blames himself for), he feels he's a failure as a dad because he doesn't know how to give loona what she needs consistently, but we also see how his dad treats him when he's a kid. Not only does he exploit his son while holding him to the standard of his son's best friend, saying fizz is the like the son he always wanted just before the cake candles caused the fire, but he outright guilts and manipulates blitz into a situation he's not only uncomfortable with but outright terrified of. Being vulnerable with anyone risks that level of manipulation and while yes you hold the power to say no, there's the concept of the "illusion of choice" where yes you can say no, but I'm gonna withdraw all love and affection and/or safety or whatever positive things you need and crave until you give me what I want anyway. And if his and verosika's relationship was similarly toxic it only would've reinforced that thought process. Plus blitz genuinely believes he's undeserving of love no matter how much he craves it, preferring to watch and insert himself into the only healthy relationship he sees constantly: moxxie and Millie.

Though that said, even the other examples such as Stolas, while a good father in some aspects, is also not perfect and it means that the relationship with his daughter also suffers somewhat It's funny to think that the guys (Blitzø, Stolas, Moxxie etc.) get the short end of the dad stick whereas the gals (Charlie, Octavia, Loona kinda, Millie) have more luck in that department

Actually, Stolas Sings is the song Owl In a Cage. In another hand, Stolas Speaks is instrumental version, wich is the melody that we usually hear when Stolas makes his aperences. A magical and beautifull piece if I may say, I’m heard that song so many times.. it’s so calming, I’ve fallen as sleep as I hear it. Trully amazing ❤✨ (please forgive any miss spelling, engilsh is not my first lenguage)
