Have you got circlip pliers to tighten the brass valve properly. It needs to be very tight. There is the danger of this valve flying off back at you when modified. That's probably why it's been designed to be very tight, before it becomes airtight

A lot depends where you are in the world. An air pistol in the UK over 6ft lb/8.13joules becomes a firearm. Here in France we can have 20 joules either pistol or rifle.

Ahh ok, think you should say that on your videos and make it very clear too your UK viewers.

​@@Maddogairguns Any joules are legall in the UK as long as it is firing frangible rounds. It will still be classed as a paintball marker. Firing non-frangible rounds will class it as a firearm. It's not comparable to other air weapons because if asked you'll specify you only use it to fire paint

@-hopstar- not strictly true, there are still laws in place for paintball, Firearms legislation Paintball markers are treated as air weapons by the Firearms Act and do not need to be licensed as long as: rifle type markers are not fired above 12 ft/lbs pistol type markers are not fired above 6 ft/lbs (the vast majority of markers are rifle types) markers must not be fully automatic ammunition breaks up on impact and can not cause a penetrating injury As most people viewing my videos are not shooting paintball, the law applies.

@thecovidprisoner I have mentioned it previously, many times in my videos. Perhaps I should make a video intro stating the fact for these type of videos.
