Swavy I disagree with your take on inflation you’re missing a key point here. Items will rise in price because of players making more, yes. But to actually get coins at an efficient enough rate to progress in the game, you’re basically required to farm. Now why would anyone do other things like dungeons, slayers, or even mining, when you can do a simple task of holding down 2 fingers and watching RU-vid. So not only are items like Hyperion being massively inflated and costing in retrospect more coins relative to the NPC value of items. But there is a declining supply of them being produced, meaning that you’re at a constant prise incline of items, as it is who values the item more, the buyer or another buyer. The market can’t keep up with this and constantly we’re seeing the price being fought for between multiple players both wanting an item with both using inflated amounts of coins to push an items value up. Now let’s consider the value of coins. If someone was to try get the 2.6b as of currently, needed for a Hyperion, their coins are being constantly devalued as the amount of coins introduced increases. When we look into how this affects that early game bracket (0-10b networth) we can see they’re being practically pushed further and further from the next stage of progression, and is causing them to quit at an almost impossible task of progressing. This is something you obviously don’t need to deal with as money is not an issue you have on your main due to getting a lot of donations, so coins aren’t as important to you. But for those people who are earlygame, they do not have a way to progress properly without being kept further away from their goals. Earlygame players are essential to the economy as they supply a lot of the earlygame resources that most players don’t think twice about. For example mob drops, wood types, fishing, etc. And if we have the quitting because they cannot progress and are locked away from content, you’re ruining the economy in multiple aspects. Hope you understand why inflation is bad, look at the real world.
