Not only that, but surviving a Specs Eruption at 1% Yeah, I’m calling fish on that: Sunny Specs Eruption is able to 2HKO Blissey, so I don’t know how even a non sunny Eruption could fail to kill it. Unless he’s running AV Nidoking or some other insanity
Sometimes I worry about people on there. I don't use showdown often, but I was playing Gen 1 random battles and one guy started judging me and telling me I built my team wrong. In RANDOM battles.
One of the best mons by far to use on electric type mono teams. Plus with how bulky it is (I run max hp max spdef) it can even eat an eq from a lot of ground types/ survive hits from sweepers like cloyster/ hawlucha and Ohko them with terrain boosted electric attacks
no lie--as a big Gallade fan, that McSpine character running a Gallade on their team and seemingly only realizing it wasn't Gardevoir in the middle of your battle with them really triggered me LOL
Yeah, it's not like something like a bulky grass type existed.. *cough* Ferrothorn and Tangrowth *cough* I mean, dude, their resistance to both electric and grass are why they're included in the first place, not to mention they benefit from the rain reducing their fire weakness... Nah, gotta go with fire type lol
@@Anaklusmos42 Yeah, this guy was using a fire type in a rain team, couldn't tell the difference between Guardevoir and Gallade and doesn't even know what Surge Surfer does. Big brain guy. But at the same time he brags with his scarfed Dracovish and complains about hit opponent for using Cinderrace. I hate people like this more than tryhards with their full legendary teams.
@@DarkGamer364 I mean, you're not wrong at all. People that don't realize that they're bad is a thing, but them telling others how bad they are is what I hate the most. And I'm not the greatest at all at pokemon (I'm too afraid to play anything else than random) but at least, when I make a mistake, I know why it was a mistake
Yeah, i personally prefer L.O ludicolo with giga drain for dealing with annoying water types that resist my boosted water moves. I also run swampert (of course, it also counters electrics well) and i also run omastar for the memes
@Kevin Let Worse yet, Typhlosion learns Thunder Punch. I could see Typhlosion using it with this setup if it had Power Herb-it’d be a legit surprise and could trick your opponent into bad switches. It could even be a spicy way of getting rid of the opponent’s Wather/Grounds. But that’s not what he did. So it’s dumb.
"This is so broken" Volt Absorb, Any other Terrain setter, lightning rod, any ground type, Latios (as said earlier), The fact that at max speed with terrain is 700 and Raichu has a whopping 4 weaknesses ( Ground and Dark being rather common)
Fun Fact!: On the Jetpunk quiz for “every Pokémon ever” or something, Pincurchin is in fact the least guessed Pokémon! Out of all attempts taken (individual attempts are included separate times), Pincurchin is the lowest at a whopping 28%, roughly 3% lower than the second least guessed Pokémon. And this is with nearly 900 of them! :D (P.S. This might be outdated, I haven’t checked the quiz in a while, but this is what is was like when I last did it.)
I'm so glad this mon is getting attention even in singles. Being the only vgc legal electric setter is awesome, and it can even be used as TR sweeper, to boot
Papa few things: rising voltage double the damage only if the target touch the terrain, I've seen that sometimes you didn't recognize the difference in damage. However pincurchin + alola Raichu is pretty used in this part of VGC. You can also try to put a psychic terrain setter and use on Raichu the other new move expanding force, so you obtain a psychic/electric spam team, super strong right now. Thank you for the videos and I hope you read the comment!
Take a Typhlosion, put it in a team with Damp Rock Politoed, and give it Solarbeam. Congratulations! You are now using the best Pokemon for rain teams.
We need to wait until the crown tundra, but then... *EXPANDING FORCE TAPU LELE* *GRASSY GLIDE TAPU BULU* *RISING VOLTAGE TAPU KOKO* *MISTY EXPLOSION TAPU FINI*
Ah yes, a chicken that will fry you with millions of volts, a butterfly that will obliterate you with enough psychic force to pulverize a mountain, a bull that smacks you with a fully grown tree before you can even react, and an exploding narwhal
That last dude is mad cuz he's bad but he shouldnt be sad because he versed you my lad, you see I'd say its pretty rad to be featured with you the unstoppable creature!
@@jetpackdog3427 Yeah, England found America in the 16th century and set up the first colony in 1607. Great Britain was then formed by Queen Anne I in 1707 as a union between the countries of England and Scotland (since Anne was of a Scottish royal house, House Stuart who were the descendants of Mary, Queen of Scots) since she was Queen of both. If I were to be exceptionally pedantic, Britain existed before then but that was before the Anglo-Saxon invasion which split the country into many separate sovereign kingdoms and the concept of Britain pretty much disappeared until Queen Anne I revived it.
That last one was hilarious Also, FULL TOAD TEAM: Venusaur Seismitoad Poliwrath Politoed Toxicroak Greninja We had Lizzard now it Toad time :P Love you Papa
Focus Miss, man that move makes me so sad. It's been a love/hate relationship for so long.. I gave it to and removed it from my Gengar many times - till gen 7 made z-all out pummeling 100% acc worth it. Now z-moves are gone again and here I am again trying to trust Focus Miss, and being stabbed in the heart over and over again - sigh
I had that idea in january, i got a pinkurchin but i didn't have an alolan raichu, so i couldn't try it, but finally, i can prove how god-like that combo is!!
Since the main weaknesses with this strategy seem to be Latios and ground types could Pursuit trapping it with say Honchkrow be an option? (at least in NatDex format)
Pursuit would be a good option against Raichu to disrupt momentum. Tyranitar would work great since rock types get more special defense in a sandstorm.
