Thrift Store Razor Scooter Find. Originally bought the broken Pink Razor Scooter for $10 at a thrift store. Added 800 Watt Motor and many upgrades. Engineered and made some disc brakes from odds and end parts. Total build cost $250.
Sorry for the shaky ride video, cheap phone holder..lol

Man you did good. I thought I was done with my build but added chain tensioners on the rear and got rid of the stock tensioner. Of course that drove me straight to needing a disc brake. Guess you're never really done. Love what you did with the the fenders.

Thank you! I saw this broken dirty pink Razor Pocket Mod Scooter at the thrift store for $10. That was my starting point. I had doubts if I would actually make this crazy project work. Many trips to the hardware store, buying odds and ends off of eBay and Amazon, and I finally made this thing work. I can say I built it myself with no real prior knowledge of making an electric scooter.

Very well done. I believe your design lacks Kenda Street Tires. I think it looks sportier compared to knobby, and handles considerably smoother at speeds above 25 mph . On eBay, they go for $50 to $70 each. When it comes to razor builds, performance tires are typically overlooked, although they are very worthwhile if moto type tires fit.

They were just the tires I had to use. I live in Arizona, so there are lots of thorns and sharp things on the road all the time.

Not trying to sound rude but you seem very knowledgeable and your comment initially made me think you're part of a razor mod community of sorts. Can you point me in that direction? I literally have found like 3 content creators who have videos on the subject any good forums or blogs? Anything helps please.

Because it was a thrift store project that cost me $13 for the frame. I made this into a scooter that an adult can ride.

@@charitysketches I modified my razor it goes 30mph and a range of at least 20 miles

@@issacflores7588 Right now I was able to modify mine with a speed throttle conversion so it’s lasting longer than 40 minutes. I’m small so 15MPH feels fast, I think eventually I’ll want it to go faster. These things are absolutely awesome !!!
