Good afternoon D&J team … Stevie them gaps are that small you’d never be able to cut the angle off as it’s too fine. There is nothing wrong with those fine gaps if you think they are too big you just put black sand in the gaps once tarmacing is laid but you’d be hard pressed to even get sand in those gaps. Great job all round well done. 👍 😊😊 Those cans are tested to be able to stand 150psi (pounds per square inch) so you can see how it opened the fridge door. I wouldn’t like for that DrPepper to explode in my hand pointed at my face😮😮😊😊 Stevie you’ve done a great job on doing this solo recorded edited video and even managed to get it to over 30 minutes long so we’ll done oh as for what I’d call kids that moved the blocks well I can’t say it on here kids may read it 😂😂😂😂 but but it rhymes with puckered quats that need a leather belt across their backsides then they’ll maybe think twice next time. Happy Birthday Dave! Hope you are having a great time up in Scotland. The block gaps issue Stevie is always a contentious one and I do think some of it is down to personal preference but yeah, some of the comments you guys get while providing free content is ridiculous… give your opinion in a constructive way or piss off is my advice to those viewers… But, I’ve done the blocks both ways - I was taught that if you can get your thumb knuckle in the gap then it’s too big. I was taught that by a big fellow with shovel hands too but I have lady hands and small thumbs but still try to stick to that. When I did my own though then you couldn’t fit a blade of grass between the gaps but it’s a balance between time, money and effort and also what you are filling it with. Yours will be fine as it’s tar and grass… I did watch a B&P paving video though and was very impressed with their curves (ooh er missus), all gaps closed by cutting wedges off and they were nearly as good as mine 😂 You should try it on a small job and see what you think, it’s all a learning game…

That pergola video was one of the first I saw. Love the father son videos on smaller projects. Just out of interest, when you start at 2 points and work round, how do you space out for joining? Do you do a dry layout, then take out a slither on each brick, so there isn't either a big gap or a tiny brick...

Hope you had a great birthday Dave, not being at work is a good start. Stevie although filming solo, you did a great job keeping the vids on track. While still not a fan of the design, the block work on the driveway has turned out fantastic and no the gaps are not wide at all let alone too wide.
