I believe I've got the same device, except mine has a different white cover plate (the same as that used on Faraday/Cerberus Pyrotronics/Siemens mechanical horns, such as the U-HN-W). I think the original manufacturer is Faraday (with "FOS" being their "generic" brand), but it also seems like Cerberus Pyrotronics continued production of them after they acquired Faraday in 1995 (not Siemens though apparently). The cover was also used with quite a few other of Faraday's (& later Cerberus Pyrotronic's) alarms, including their 3-tone & 8-tone horns & horn/strobes, & a modified version with fewer grille holes was used on electromechanical horns like the 6120/Simplex 2901-9838. 1:17 I believe most electronic chimes are basically just a speaker hooked to a chime tone generator.
